View Full Version : V Kings
Tahoe 11-08-2012, 12:15 AM Just started watching, start of the 2nd half.
Cousins seems to be kind of a dipshit. Maxiel is guarding him...lol. Stuckey sux. Some dood elbowed JJ in the throat...no Pistons went after him. Kicked out of the game and prolly another game. JJ just got bodied down all the way to the bucket, BY A GUARD and the guard got a layup out of it.
Tahoe 11-08-2012, 12:17 AM Kings up 5 with 4 and change left.
Tahoe 11-08-2012, 12:19 AM Kingz announcerz..."Stuckey just can't shoot the ball." I'm thinking...and thats his strength.

Kings announcers..."STuckey finally made a shot"

Tahoe 11-08-2012, 12:36 AM Jerry Reynolds. Kings coach back in the day.
Funny story...He was kind of sick but he coached the team anyway. He had a really bad temperature. He fuckin fainted during the game and fell on the floor. The refs called a technical foul on his dumb ass. Lollllllllerskatz.
Tahoe 11-08-2012, 12:37 AM Jimmer Frereetteree. Tbro looks up to this cat.
Koolaid 11-08-2012, 12:37 AM by the way, the pistons are clearly tanking. they don't even foul ? LOL
Tahoe 11-08-2012, 12:38 AM Grant Napier looks like...I don't know... a piece of shit or something.

Kstat 11-08-2012, 03:35 AM Someone needs the balls to tell tayshaun prince he can't bring it like he used to and he's losing his job to a guy with 5 games of nba experience.
Pharaoh 11-08-2012, 05:12 AM Someone needs the balls to tell tayshaun prince he can't bring it like he used to and he's losing his job to a guy with 5 games of nba experience.
Wouldn't need to tell him that if we'd traded him like I wanted too #justsayin'
Kstat 11-08-2012, 06:14 AM Wouldn't need to tell him that if we'd traded him like I wanted too #justsayin'
I never said Tayshaun had to stay a Piston for life. I said we needed a veteran with credentials willing to be a leader by example. So far, Tayshaun has failed miserably at that job.
Again, I think it is a huge mistake to just dump him and not get a veteran that can step into the rotation somewhere and be a leader.
Pharaoh 11-08-2012, 07:41 AM Didn't we already establish in the other thread that Tayshaun is not willing to be a leader?
And what is he doing out there to really help? Dude needs to sit the fuck down so Singler can play and learn on the job. I'm certain he'd develop faster if he played more... more experience in NBA game situations can't be a bad thing.
We, as a franchise, cling to Tayshaun because he's the last link to what was a great team. But living in the past isn't good for us. We need to thank him for the good times and move forward... to a future that doesn't include him (or Stuckey), a future built around Monroe, Drummond and Knight.
We can get there slowly and painfully, suffering through crappy season after crappy season while trying to stay relevant.... or we can lose the right way aka let the kids play and see what we see.
I'm guessing many fans would prefer to watch the kids play and lose than watch Prince and Stuckey stink up the joint and lose.
Kstat 11-08-2012, 08:00 AM They will get there a lot faster if they're playing alongside a veteran that's been through the wars and can help them through the tough times.
So far, tayshaun is not proving to be that guy.
Pharaoh 11-08-2012, 08:14 AM He's not that guy cause he never was THAT guy
When we were great, way back when we had Ben, Sheed, Tay, Rip and Chauncey who was the leader? Who was the go to guy? Who was the motivator? The spirtual leader? Who brought the comedy, who kept the players loose, who made them get serious, who kept them together?
WTF did Tayshaun really do? Yeah, yeah, yeah he played his part well and he was important and all that but really... HOW vital was he, how important was he?
Maybe I remember it differently to you Kstat? Cause the Tayshaun you think he is just doesn't exist IMO
He's an experienced NBA player, played a lot of important games and seen a lot of stuff.... but he's always been "less than" some other options on the roster... so he can't teach Monroe and Knight shit cause right or wrong we live and die with those 2
Kstat 11-08-2012, 08:16 AM I was for giving tayshaun the opportunity. So far he's blowing it.
Back in 2002, when this team was learning how to win games again, the guy that turned the team around from a toughness standpoint was cliff Robinson. He wasn't a vocal guy either, but he led by example on the floor. He played winning basketball. Ben Wallace was a better player because of him.
This team needs a guy like that. They have nobody that's willing to do the dirty work and lead by example on the defensive end.
Pharaoh 11-08-2012, 08:33 AM DUDE!
THAT was my whole point in the Flynn thread! That Tayshaun was not that guy...
IMO you can't say he's blowing it when he's not that guy in the first place
Kstat 11-08-2012, 11:34 AM You can be that guy without being vocal. He deserved a chance.
Uncle Mxy 11-08-2012, 08:17 PM The reason we've been losing is fucking Stucknut Stunkey. He needs to have his ass benched for a few games until he recovers from his migraine or brain fart or whatever the fuck problem he has.
Pharaoh 11-09-2012, 02:31 AM Suckey's problem is low BBall IQ... and no range. Nothing has changed since Draft Day!
And Prince deserved a chance Kstat? He didn't show up in the off-season. That was his chance to be a leader and he was absent. That said it all.
You can brush it off and say a veteran of his standing doesn't need to be there - but if he was a leader - vocal or otherwise - he would have been there
All I wanted was to be fair to Tayshaun and ship him off to a playoff team. He's had a great run here. No need to waste his final years on a Lottery team transitioning from one "era" to the next.
You wanted him kept because you wrongly assumed he would be a leader on the floor. Obviously Joe feels that Tayshaun was worth keeping... but that's just another mistake by Joe and he's made plenty of them in recent seasons
Uncle Mxy 11-10-2012, 07:08 AM Wisdom from Rick Mahorn!
