We take on Chandler's 4 year deal - which helps clear a log jam for the Nuggets - because he provides long term depth on the wings. If memory serves he was pretty reasonable before going OS

They take Nova to get a stretch big man (replaces Harrington) and to free up minutes on the wings for Brewer, Miller and Fournier.

This trade would never happen and we'd be better off using the amnesty on Nova to clear his salary off the books BUT with Maggette an expiring we could use someone like Chandler in case we traded Prince and Daye still wasn't ready.

Do not take on any years/$ for a player that's not going to be a significant factor in returning us to contention. No 4-year deals for redundant role players.

i like it, i think Chandler can be an above average starter at SF, then again i am sure Denver could do better than Charlie dealing Chandler
