Idonije graded out pretty well last year, but he's 32. Hope is also older but is likely better than the Don Careys/Ricardo Silvas that would otherwise be backing up Delmas.

Lions are probably going to carry 4 RB this year... Bush/Bell/Leshoure and one of Theo Riddick or Steven Miller would be my guess.

Steven Miller would be a better option at KR/PR, so I think right now he would have the upper hand with Riddick as PS'er.

Also, that Riddick/Miller battle should be fun to watch in preseason - I imagine they'll get a ton of time as the Lions will be protecting Bush but also getting his plays practiced often.

No but for real, I'm a big Stafford fan. Jaws ranked him #16 in the NFL and I thought that was kinda bullshit (especially with Romo at #15), but I can't really complain. Stafford has to lead the team to the playoffs and win a few games there before he's taken seriously by the national media. Jaws doesn't like his inconsistent delivery, and I didn't either until late last year, when he seemed to get a handle on his different throwing styles.

Regardless, Stafford is the one Lions QB in my lifetime I haven't been uncertain about. Yet.

Still, with the horses w had in the middle last year (Suh and Fairley) and a decent LB corps, we gave up way too many yards up the middle on the ground. I seriously hope they can fix that, because if they can't it'll be another long year. They can have all the CB and S improvement in the league, and it won't mean shit if they can't stop the 4-6 yard runs up the middle.

I think Stafford's played better than he looks at times. A lot of his inaccuracy comes from their running alot of quick timing routes which are a lot more difficult to nail every time....but have also kept him off his back and helped make a pretty raw offensive line look like one of the best in the league.

Obviously he can still improve but I'm feeling pretty good about him right now.

Surprise, surprise, I think Statsfords accuracy is way overrated. He tosses it up and CJ adjusts to the throw, more than Stafford putting on the money. Obviously Stafford has made some good passes, accurate passes, but not like ESPN and koolaid drinkers will have you believe.
