being a yahoo veteran and commish in my league for some years, 5 bench spots are way too much, you wont get a lot of player movement at all, also the auction draft is much more fun, we tried it last year, everyone likes it better than standard. i like rotisserie, i think about it, one problem for me: 10 pm means i need to get up at 4 am, that kinda suckz :P

I think we'll need the bench spots this year because, due to the compressed schedules and all of the back-to-backs, I think we'll see a lot more guys taking nights off.

I've always been of the belief that having larger rosters led to more trades/movement because you've got more to work with.

Who else can we get? Have we tried Jethro's co-worker yet?

And no one seems to want Caron Butler - who is ranked in the top 50. He's good all-round and no one wants him!

I've also been trying to trade the Morris boy from Phoenix with Butler. This guy is ranked in the top 60! Does it matter if I picked him off the waiver wire? Dude is producing all round...

But I wanted a shotblocker cause I have a couple f good all round types but no real blocker.

I realise everyone must think Morris is a bum but the guy is producing and the way Phoenix play suits him. He can shoot from deep and is pretty efficient. Maybe everyone is waiting for Channing Frye to become a factor this season, or waiting for Hakim to do something? In the meantime Morris is doing a damn good job

I have no idea why people don't want Butler - the guy is getting feed by Chris Paul and the Clips have Griffin getting all the defensive attention. Butler is doing his job and doing it well. So what gives? Is the threat of injury enough to keep people away from him?

IF I had a quality shotblocker I wouldn't even think of dealing these guys.

If those guys in the middle of the pack (or on top) aren't willing to trade then there isn't much hope for the guys in the last few spots.

And that is exactly how I won this comp a couple of years ago. I traded more than anyone that season. Cross made the next most moves and came second. We mixed and matched our line ups all the time, picked up every free agent that got hot and gambled a lot when we traded

IF I come last this time around it won't be because I didn't try to change it up. I'm proposing deals left and right but it takes 2 to tango.

The best thing about this season for me was Iggy - thanks to whomever traded him to me! Every game he contributes something worthwhile

Pretty happy with the big men I ended up with (Bosh, Lee, Duncan, Camby, Bass) though David West sucked all season... I thought he'd kick into gear at some point but he didn't...

My slow start killed me, Horford's injury killed me, D Rose going down killed me so I traded him and D Rose killed them too lol

I could never find a good group of guards, even though Courtney Lee, Brandon Rish and Jeff Teague all had their moments

Next season I think we limit the starters and bench spots... simply too hard to find ANYONE worth a squirt of shit in free agency

Maybe start PG, SG, SF, PF, C and 3 utilities... with 3 bench players? Same categories though...
