phenomenal article. very long, but if you want to learn a ton about the ncaa its worth the read. pulitzer quality stuff.
i was sort of luke warm to the notion that that student athletes should be paid, and that the status quo was pretty good.
after reading that, i dont think you can reach any conclusion but that the current system is inherently unfair and that college athletics would be better off without the ncaa. mega conferences are probably a step in that direction, anyway.
