Rooting for them to sweep each other.

i got to go with the tribe. i still think dunn could get going. and if i were to have someone make it other than the tigers, it cant be the sux.

just think the sux have under performed and indians overperformed all year.

liked seeing ubaldo get ruffed up, though. hope dombrowski was bidding up his trade value before the deadline.

this is neither here nor there, but is pat caputo the worst writer who is payed to write, or what?

he knows and loves baseball, but god is he terrible at writing. i think he tries to make his writing more colloquial, like he's actually saying it. and for all i know maybe he is and has that voice to text software. but the writing is so disjointed its like he's an idiot. im not just talking about his blog, either. the oakland press is publishing it.

Vinny has made me laugh over the years, but this might be the first time Glan has made laugh...I mean laugh with him not at him.

im tempted to accuse 2 or 3 people in this thread of post padding. i wont, but the thought is there.

humber just got ko'd from the game. hot shot to the head. possible concussion.

very unfortunate, no one wants to see injuries, yada yada yada. he was a big part of sux rotation and made edwin expendable.

could be a blow to the sux.

by my math, the tigers could go 6-15 and probably still make the playoffs. as long as 5 of those losses werent to the tribe, of course.

1/2 game behind the fagners right now. only means home field in the first round, but worth keeping an eye on.

also, beckett just left w/ injury. if he is out out, boston is who we want. good lineup, but their starters are like ours, beckett + ???.

espn says 97.2 % chance we're in.

Vinny
09-06-2011, 10:16 PM
Hmmm. That seems low. What were the criteria?

Tahoe
09-06-2011, 10:25 PM
^ Thats the important thing, but BDid/Homer will just blame you if the criteria eliminates a high probablility for the Tigs to win it.

b-diddy

theres nothing in the criteria to suggest the tigers cant make the playoffs.

18 games left, up 10. espn calls that 99.8% likely.

we're up .5 on tex, just 3 back on boston and 5.5 back of yankees.

its all about just getting in, and if youre lucky setting up your pitching rotation going in. but it'd be cool to win the central.

in a sport where 6 in 10 is about as good as it gets, 21 in 25 is unbelievable. let alone down the stretch.
