That really sucks.

I'll admit that my initial reaction was that a death metal band was behind this.

No church burnings have been reported yet.

Remember Obama sez we can't say 'terrorism' anymore, its 'man made disasters'

What a douche.

They have a 32 year-old suspect in custody.

Sky sources. #Oslo suspect named as Anders Behring Breivik.

Doesn't appear to be linked to "Islamist terror," either.

Hmmm... Obama certainly called it "terror" in speaking about it earlier:

And it's a reminder that the entire international community has a stake in preventing this kind of terror from occurring. And so we have to work cooperatively together both on intelligence and in terms of prevention of these kinds of horrible attacks.

But I think Tahoe backdoored his way into something interesting (well, interesting to me).

When we in the U.S. think of terrorISTS, we're prone to thinking in terms of foreign Islamics with funny names and bombs strapped to them. We don't think of some Christian white boy bombing Oklahoma City. Oslo is shaping up to be an Oklahoma City-like event. I'm wondering to what extent the folks in Norway will consider this nutjob to be a terrorIST, as distinct from someone who committed a horrible act.

Apparently, the dude posted this video before going on the attack:

The answer will show in the degree to which they behave as though terrorIZED... as we have, for ten years.

If you missed the Obama Admin NOT calling terrorism terrorism, but man made disasters, than I can't help ya.

Seriously, Y'all need stop watching MSNBC as your source for news.

When the election got closer, terrorism crept back into the admin's volcab.

I don't watch much TV news -- reading is fundamental. I didn't miss what you're talking about. But that's two years old, and not really news at this point. Checking today's news, I'm glad that the Norwegians are calling this guy a terrorist. We were much less prone to using that term for McVeigh, the Unabomber, etc.
