the injury is imminent. he hasnt been a good baseball player since the bush administration, but we've got such crappy play from 2nd that trying him out makes sense. i thought raburn might be coming around but make this will shake him out of it.

#3 is least likely. 1 and 2 are pretty equal, but I'll go with the suckitude.

His bat speed was completely gone the last time I saw him play, hard to believe he found it.

If he hits .300 with no power that is helpful for this year. I think he's gone next year no matter what, so if you can get some production for your 11 mil overpay than great. At 2B you can live with the power outage. In RF with Maggs you cannot live with a .240 hitter with no power. 2B is not my worry this year. You can't win a WS with Inge and Maggs in your everyday lineup and they need to be the focus at the trade deadline (along with another SP).
