2013 UM hoops recruit

Kid survived a plane crash when he was 8, but his mom, brother and sister died.

Now, 8 years later, he's in critical condition after another plane crash last night that killed his father and step mom.

I remember reading all the posts on the Michigan sites about this Saturday morning and it was very hard to read. The kid decided to go to Michigan about 10 minutes after he was offered because it was his Mother's dream and the kid has been described as a great leader. Everyone that talks to him says that even though he is only 16 you feel like you're talking to a 22 or 23 year old man and he wants to be a doctor and follow in his Father's footsteps.

Everyone please pray for this kid, whether or not he ever plays basketball at Michigan this kid needs all the help he can get.

I was friends with Steve here in Ft Wayne. Pretty much devastating to the whole community. My kids go to the same school as Austin.
