They need to end the charade and just have Kobe coach the team.

They need to end the charade and just have Nash coach the team.
Fixed. :)
(And seriously, Steve Nash as interim coach would be interesting.)

Heckuva job Brownie!

What do they have an 8 year old running this organization?

Pretty sure Jerry buss has gone senile...so yeah.

The lakers are done for this season. This will not help them at all from a basketball standpoint. It's just something done to appease the masses.

Jerry Buss didn't make this call, K. U know better than that.

Kstat
11-09-2012, 05:44 PM
Actually, I'm pretty certain he did, unless you think Jim buss was behind it. I'd buy that, too.

This is not the sort of move a GM makes. You don't bail 5 games into a season if you intend it to be a success.

Yes, I thought Kobe and Jr. Buss.

Phil Jackson and Mike D'Antoni are the leading candidates to replace Mike Brown as coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, a source with knowledge of the situation told ESPNLosAngeles.com's Ramona Shelburne on Friday.

Pre-arranged deal with Phil, probably.

If so, that's SUPER shady. What a scumbag.

Phil, pullin a Pat Riley or something. Maybe Kobe threw a couple games just to get Brown fired. Now that would be funny.

to reiterate....YES.

Phil Jax can't coach forever... WTF are they gonna do next season?

BTW, whatever happened to Jim Cleamons career as a head coach? I remember Dallas... then some women's team (maybe?) then back to being an assistant.... seems odd he didn't get another shot?

Not to be racist but all these old white guys get chance after chance after chance...

D'Antoni? This just gets better and better...

Not sure about his pay but I think it's a good signing...

He'll simply be an extension of Steve Nash off the floor :)
