Rockets are apparently down to Lawrence Frank, Dwane Casey and Kevin McHale as coaching candidates.

If it weren't for the Davison M-8 freeway already existing, I'd like this.

This is kinda like Walton and Waldon in the Clarkston area -- two main roads with almost identical sounding names only a couple miles apart. I always thought that was stupid.

Bynum suspended for 5 games.

This is going to put a damper on the Lakers's three-peat try... OH WAIT!

Doc Rivers agrees to 5 year extension with Celtics.

Will be interesting to see where Larry Frank ends up.

hirteen-time NBA champion Phil Jackson, the man who most thoroughly embodies the idea of the basketball guru, is saying he’ll hang it up now that his Lakers have been eliminated from the playoffs. We look back on his life and career:

* 1945: Born in Deer Lodge, MT, where all kids could do for fun was wear suits and pace back and forth
* 1963: Birth of Michael Jordan
* 1975: While discussing plays during a timeout, Jackson decides he’d rather stay there on the sidelines than go back in and play
* 1990: Jackson first implements the triangle offense with his Bulls team, the triangle being comprised of three Bulls players staying the hell out of the way of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen
* 1992: After winning back-to-back titles, Jackson comes up with the idea of doing it again the next year
* 2004: Has the pleasure of seeing Karl Malone and Gary Payton lose in the Finals
* 2004: After a long day of heated contract negotiations, goes home and fucks his boss's daughter repeatedly
* 2011: Jackson ascends to a higher plane of coaching in a bright flash of pure white energy

Which one?

Did Cho shred Roy's knees? He didn't even draft Oden, dude hasn't even had the job for a year.

I KNEW that was coming. Still nice.

I'm pretty saddened by this. Rich Cho has been my boy since 4th grade and we grew up as ballers our whole lives.

It does sound like they are choosing Roy over Cho, though, since it was just made public a couple of days ago that Cho wanted Roy suspended during the playoffs.

Was talking about Roy. (Oden never was a franchise player)

Cho didn't cause the problems but what they have to do for the future and the whole Crying Game thing is all about Roy.

Why does McHale want the Rockets?
