I haven't been able to catch the entire show, but I hear MSU got UCLA in the first round.

Actually Sparty's seed is pretty good. 7 teams from the B10. Now if the right Spartan team can show up, they have a chance to win a round or two.

I'm still shocked that Alabama didn't make it and Tennessee did. I really think Michigan should beat Tennessee. I would not put my money on Michigan vs. Duke, but stranger things have happened. No matter what happens in the tourney, this Michigan team surpassed expectations by a mile.

I despise Duke, and I'm not an avid college basketball fan at all. I'll be happy if they're knocked out.

im not exactly gonna pick against this team to lose, but i hate the 8/9 seed. i'd much rather be a 12 seed and face a 5 first round.

my thoughts were we wouldnt lose till we ran into a stud nba lock player. i dont think irving is coming back (right?) but duke still has way too much talent. singler, smith... not to mention plumlee and the other 5 or so 7 footers on the team.

an upset would be awesome, but if you asked me before the brackets were announced what teams michigan couldnt beat in the tourney, duke wouldve been maybe the first i'd have mentioned.

im jacked though. michigan making it in as an 8 just proves how safely they made it in. all the worry warts talking about having to win 1 or even 2 games in the big ten tourney were dead wrong. we were a lock as soon as we beat state.

Seriously you guys just had a great season and got a well deserved 8 seed (albeit a tough bracket imo), and you are still thinking about poor underacheiving Sparty? Come on man, maybe you should actually think about Tennessee instead of gloating after two well deserved regular season victories.

People are pissed that here Colorado did not get in over UAB and VCU.

I think Michigan will have their hands full. Tennessee is a feast or famine team (like K-State) that runs hot or cold. Lots of talent but inconsistent. I'm picking Michigan to win a game but that is it.

I'm taking MSU to win two games. UCLA is overrated and so is Florida. Florida probably has more talent than MSU, but Izzo has gotten the best of Florida before.

Maybe I'm a bit of a homer, but I don't want to be sitting there rooting against either team from Michigan so I'll pick them.

Chris, I had the same picks. There is no substitute for consistent hard play and a well executed game plan, and I think thats what will give Michigan the edge in their first week. Tennessee is big, but I think the wolverines will try and take advantage with lots of organized play.

MSU is a tough call. I have no idea which of my teams is going to show up. If they play as hard as the Wolverines have played all season, I would like them beyond the round of 16. But as it stands, I like them in round one. Florida will be tough, maybe not as tough for other MSU teams, but definitely for this one.

The first game we beat state, there were a few guys with the last time UofM beat MSU painted all over there chests running in front of the cameras and jumping around like foos. Sorta like gloating. I think thats what gloating is.

Those fans should've checked themselves. Pride comes before the fall.
