I think the Spartans run is over, and no, it's not just because they lost to the Big Brother today...actually got swept by Big Brother...my bad.

I've seen them a few times this year and they just don't look like the "prime" Spartans anymore.

On top of that, now they are shutting down Izzo.

I do look for them to do 'ok' in the NIT, but I think there are multitudes of teams that are superior in the B10 alone.

Izzo's confidence is obviously shattered. Explains why he was afraid to go to the NBA as well.

hate to disagree with you tahoe, but no.

sparties had one analyst (forget who) call them the best team he'd seen in 20 years early in the year. obviously, no where close. but this team could have been better than it has been, and i think its the loss of lucious and even allen.

i think without those two the team lost some pretty critical balance.

winning makes every thing look better. its like all the stuff i was saying about rodriguez. all the bad coaching talk goes away with wins. izzo will be back, and it'll seem crazy that so many people criticized him.
