Love it, coolest fighting game in awhile. Only downside is that it's not really heavy on features. But the meat and potatoes fighting is great and simple at the same time.

Is it balanced between the two sides? My memory of the original is that it was pretty slanted. It's an old enough memory that I don't remember which side was uber though.

Yep, pretty balanced. The real strategy is in knowing when to power up and mix up combos and tag moves.
