The BBC's Matthew Price says that from Israel's perspective it has signed two important peace treaties in the region - one with Egypt and one with Jordan. A senior Jordanian official has told him that if Egypt slides into chaos, its 32-year-old peace treaty with Israel might not last long - and that would put Jordan under immense pressure to look again at its own peace treaty. Both Israel and Jordan are watching nervously what happens in Egypt.

Reliable information is very hard to get out of Egypt right now. I have seen multiple videos of this kind of thing happening, this is just the worst one. Apparently, in this case, the car had diplomatic plates.

I'm hearing Mubarak has some shovel ready Pyramid projects, but it won't help.

Speaking of egypt conspiracy theories. I'm not saying this is the reason but a lot of people are claiming it as a contributing factor and I tend to give it some credence.
