Thoughts for a trade down situation

No question I would be interested. He is a great player. Of course, I would be equally interested in the ridiculous haul we would get for moving down 8 or so spots. likely another first and fourth or a second and third. Jackpot.

I still don't think anyone is trading up with us. Seattle might trade a first for Marshall. That leaves SF as the only team with multiple first rounders (and those are not as good). I think trading down is a pipe dream if you want fair value.

I would love San Fran's 2 picks (plus a 4th or something). We could take the LG from Idaho and then a pretty good defensive player as well and wouldn't have to give a massive contract to somebody at 2.

The value chart probably isn't the bible, but it suggests both firsts and their 2nd for #2:

#2 = 2600 pts

#13 = 1150 pts
#16 = 1000 pts
#49 = 410 pts
total = 2560 pts

Not sure if that would happen, but I'd do that deal. If so I'd do this:

#13 Baluga OT
#16 Dan Williams DT
#34 DE/CB
#49 CB/DE

That could be a really good day 1.

The chart is broken now. The #2 overall is worth less than the #5 depending on available talent. Salaries are fucked.
