Tahoe 03-01-2010, 10:25 PM Is it true that the Cavs are promoting a "largest crowd to ever wear snuggies" when the Pistons play them next time?
Has this been posted? Is it possibly freaken true? Can't be.
Vinny 03-01-2010, 10:34 PM Will Valter be there in his Tux?
Glenn 03-07-2010, 03:11 PM Rafer went MIA in MIA. He's pissed that he lost his starting job and is threatening to retire.
The Heat suspended him.

He lost his starting job to Arroyo.
I'm surprised Chalmers hasn't escaped his sophmore slump by now...
Tahoe 03-08-2010, 12:02 AM Is Garnett considered back, like 100% back?
Vinny 03-08-2010, 01:36 AM Is Garnett considered back, like 100% back?
He's a shell. Can't jump anymore. He'll never be the same, it'll be interesting to see if he can reinvent himself a bit. He certainly has the ability but it's hard to say if he can understand the changes he needs to make.
Glenn 03-08-2010, 04:47 PM Grizzlies recall Hasheem Thabeet from D-League. The No. 2 draft pick averaged 13.8 ppg, 11.2 rpg, 3.17 bpg, 50% fgp in 6 games for Dakota.
Somebody post a Rip/Thabeet trade package.
Maybe Conley/Thabeet/junk?
Uncle Mxy 03-08-2010, 09:25 PM Samb had similar D-League statistics:

Reinvent by learning to stand in the paint and swat anything that comes his way...it looks like to me anyway.
Glenn 03-10-2010, 05:25 PM dunleavy quit. again.
Fired, actually.
I'm gonna sling some shit here and then bump it if by some miracle it happens.
I think Jerry Colangelo wants back in. Colangelo is tight with LeBron (Team USA) and even tighter with Coach K.
Discuss.
Vinny 03-10-2010, 09:09 PM Darko starting over Kevin Love.
Glenn 03-11-2010, 02:41 AM I vant the fuck outta here.
Pharaoh 03-11-2010, 07:31 AM So GD -
you think JC will go to the LAC and then have them sign Coach K and then chase LBJ?
That reads like twitter shit.
Glenn 03-11-2010, 07:40 AM Nothing to do with Twitter and everything to do with being disgusted/bored with the Pistons season.
Uncle Mxy 03-13-2010, 10:46 AM A former NBA center is returning back home to Michigan -- yay?
Police in Salt Lake County arrested former Utah Jazz center Robert Whaley and found marijuana "between his buttocks," according to a jail document.
Whaley, 27, had warrants for his arrest for absconding from a probation in Michigan. A police document filed with the Salt Lake County jail says gang detectives stopped a car about 4:30 a.m. Thursday. Whaley was a passenger and was not wearing a seat belt, the document says.
Unified Police Department Lt. Don Hutson said gang detectives were monitoring apartment complexes near 3900 South and 700 West. The apartments have had recent crime problems and gang problems, including shootings, Hutson said.
Detectives spotted an occupied car sitting in a parking lot with no lights on and decided to investigate.
Whaley identified himself to police as Kareem Johnson, the document says. Apparently, it didn't fool detectives.
"They recognized him as being a former Jazz player," Hutson said.
Police discovered Whaley had a warrant for his arrest.
"Robert was also found to be in possession of several baggies of marijuana that he was holding between his buttocks," a police officer wrote.
Hutson did not know how much marijuana Whaley had. If it is a small amount for personal use, prosecutors in Utah are unlikely to seek charges because that might delay Whaley's return to Michigan, Hutson said.

Well, he dropped 20 on the Pacers and has been playing well off the bench.
D's Nuts 03-16-2010, 01:30 AM Steph Curry is good.
Glenn 03-16-2010, 03:33 PM The NBA/ESPN moved the Pistons/Cavs game on Sunday from 8 pm to 6 pm and moved Spurs/Hawks to 8 pm instead.
lol
Tahoe 03-16-2010, 05:02 PM Are they saying we're bad?
Glenn 03-16-2010, 05:32 PM We're so bad that we made them choose Spurs/Hawks over LeBron.
That's impressive.
Tahoe 03-16-2010, 06:09 PM Spurs must not be 'done' Glan.
Glenn 03-16-2010, 06:13 PM I'd rather watch vomit dry than watch Spurs/Hawks, and that's MY Hawks I'm talking about, too.
Pharaoh 03-18-2010, 09:32 AM Is it all John Hammond's fault?
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-bogutbucks031710
"What we have here are a bunch of guys with a chip on their shoulders, with something to prove,” Bogut said. “We’re a bunch of underdog guys, in an underdog city."
Wasn't that us?
Now it's the Bucks?
WTF?
Glenn 03-18-2010, 12:41 PM Derrick Coleman Files For Bankruptcy (http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/22870513/detail.html)
Vinny 03-18-2010, 01:37 PM Derrick Coleman Files For Bankruptcy (http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/22870513/detail.html)
Coleman owes between 50 and 99 creditors, including Detroit Mayor Dave Bing, American Express, Comerica, Sprint, Verizon, Hungry Howie's Pizza and Nike.
LOL!
Uncle Mxy 03-18-2010, 06:28 PM How does an NBA ball player end up OWING money to Nike?
RegicideGreg 03-18-2010, 09:24 PM How does a person get a line of credit with a pizza company?
Glenn 03-18-2010, 09:54 PM Maybe he owned a few franchise locations?
Vinny 03-18-2010, 10:02 PM Maybe he owned a few franchise locations?
That's what I assumed but it's alot funnier to picture him just ordering pizza after pizza at 5.99.
Dude LOVES flavored crust. Lay off.
Uncle Mxy 03-19-2010, 05:42 PM Maybe he owned a few franchise locations?
Yes, he had a Howie's franchise, presumably so he could order pizza after pizza for free.
Flavored crust is fucking good.
Damn, you bitches is cold!
Uncle Mxy 03-19-2010, 10:17 PM Howie's is good, but Jet's is ballin'.
Glenn 03-22-2010, 09:00 AM Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni has fired back at rookie Jordan Hill, who claimed that he was buried on the bench during his tenure in New York.
"Where does that come from?" D'Antoni said. "Seriously. It's something that cracks me up. I don't play rookies? I don't like to play bad rookies."

I'm not a fan of Oracle right now. Spent a month developing a web app, then they went and decided to connect everything to an old Oracle 8i database. I've spent the last month and a half rebuilding the entire app.
