Clears Bosh space for Chicago by getting rid of Hinrich's deal.
Houston gets Tyrus's rights and can probably lock him up cheap to play next to Yao.
Lakers get a PG and a backup wing to help their title run.

Why do I care?
We stand pat and we suck!
All these other teams are wheeling and dealing and either acquiring a piece to help them now, young dudes to rebuild with or cap space.
And we are acquiring what?

Experience for our young guys?

Experience for our young guys?
I consider our young guys to be Stuckey, Jerebko, Summers and Daye.
Everyone else on the roster has enough experience to be considered a veteran player IMO.
Of those 4 only 2 (Stuckey/Jerebko) play any significant role. In fact on many nights the other 2 don't even play.
WTF?
And someone give GD a gold star cause that is exactly what this season was about.
Mr D must be spinning in his grave... His wife might try to harness the energy he's creating and sell it

Chicago gets Tmac
LA gets Hinrich, Buddinger
Houston gets Brad Miller, Tyrus, Sasha (1 more yr left), Morrison.
Houston gets a replacement for Yao this year (Miller) and Tyrus long term if they want him.
Chicago gets Hinrich's salary off the books for Bosh attempts.
LA gets their PG and a backup shooter to replace Sasha/Morrison who haven't been lighting it up anyway.
Might have to include some min salary scrubs for roster spot purposes or guys can be waived I suppose (since most are expiring deals anyway).

I was trying to look for any reason other than money. That's the best I could come up with.
