i hate to blame just one guy for our abysmal season, especially our first or second most important player, deshawn simms. but him being the senior on the team, i cant help but feel that this team has taken his personality as its own persona. he's just sort of mopey, especially when he doesnt get the ball enough. he has a ton of lazy tendencies, and rarely stays focused for long stretches. the big issue this season is 3 pt shooting, but i feel like this is almost as big. its like this team wanted it to be easier this year after last season's success. ergo they do stuff like not run threw the finish line. its maddening.

the slim hope we have of ncaa's (short of winning btt) is doing really good over this five game gauntlet. purdue losing 3 in a row doesnt help our cause, though.
