When Jordan Dumars transferred from South Florida this month, he said he wanted to be closer to home.
He'll be deciding between Michigan, Michigan State and Detroit Mercy in the next couple days and already has an idea where he'll go.
"I'm leaning toward Michigan because my game is predicated on shooting, and I'm able to shoot threes," Dumars said today. He said a team's style of play is his No. 1 concern.
The former Birmingham Detroit Country Day player said he and his father, Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars, are evaluating his options and likely will make a final call in the next few days with the semester starting in January.
Dumars might have to go without a scholarship for a semester, he said, because he's a mid-year transfer.
