1.2009 draft class- Relative to where they were picked, it looks like Joe D might have struck gold this time, possibly with all 3 picks.

2. Kuester- On some nights, he's had about half of a roster to work with (not the good half, either) and he's got them playing hard, if nothing else. He scored some major points with me Friday night when he challenged the organization's sacred cow, demonstrating that he's not just going to tiptoe around things with the kid, that's exactly the kind of leadership we need from a coach, especially since we're not getting it on the floor.

3. 2010 Draft- According to the "experts", it's looking like a quality, deep draft, and we're likely looking at a very nice piece of the puzzle being added.

We focus on a lot of the negative shit about this team, but those are a the positives that I see right now.

Our Draft Class - Joe finally wasn't asleep at the wheel on Draft Daye and landed (what looks like) 3 actual keepers! That's just insane considering his record. Props to our scouts/Joe for doing a good job

Jonas Jerebko - dude deserves to be mentioned individually too. The mere fact people could entertain dealing Tayshaun Prince to allow this kid to remain the starter shows that the kid has been at the very least reasonable. The Walls of Jerebko t-shirts are about to be printed.

The Coach - finally we've got a dude that knows his shit. And one that is not about to bow to pressure. Start Bynum? Johnny Q says Fuck You! Don't mess with the sacred cow? Johnny Q says Fuck You! Fountain of Youth (litres for Big Ben and a sip for Chucky) - other than Kstat who thought Big Ben would be this good? Who thought Chucky would even be a factor at all? Props to the 2 guys that started it all way back in the day. Is this the birth of a sequel...

Stuckey's play at the 2 - thank you, thank you, thank you. Now trade him

Bynum (when healthy) - the little dynamo is exactly what we need off the bench

Rip (when healthy) - the guy keeps on dropping 20 every fucking year. He could sit back and chill the fuck out, look at his championship ring and count his cash. But he doesn't. That's awesome

Kwame for not completely sucking - Thanks for coming, thanks for not completely sucking, now trade him for a decent piece

And finally,

The fact that they play hard for most of every single game.

That is the single most important thing happening right now. As long as this continues I don't give a fuck if we win another game - just fight all night.

That will show teams we're coming - maybe not this season, but we are coming.
