View Full Version : Chris Henry dead. UxKa 12-16-2009, 07:34 PM Chris Henry on life support after "car accident" (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/121609-Bengals-Henry) Glenn 12-17-2009, 10:07 AM He died. DennyMcLain 12-17-2009, 10:21 AM Jumping into the back of a pickup truck driven by his fiancee during an argument WITH the fiancee??? Then getting thrown from the truck. What a shitty way to go. Wilfredo Ledezma 12-17-2009, 12:52 PM Awful news. Guy was only 26! It seemed like he'd been in the league for the last decade. RIP MoTown 12-17-2009, 05:33 PM I hate to say it, but it's not shocking news. If there was one player in the NFL you could expect this from, it would be Chris Henry. It sounded like he was starting to get his life on track, though. Glenn 12-17-2009, 05:44 PM ^insensitive Glenn 12-17-2009, 05:48 PM We'll have to keep updating this thread, though, as a public service. MoTown 12-17-2009, 05:52 PM ^insensitive As soon as I wrote my post, I expected this to be the very next post. UxKa 12-17-2009, 06:14 PM As much as it seemed like he was getting his life on track, he had probably only managed to not get arrested or be in the spotlight. People who have their life on track don't generally get into such heated arguments that they hop in the back of a pickup and start hitting the back window with their cast only to be thrown out of said pickup. I feel bad for his kids though, that stuff makes me sad. DennyMcLain 12-17-2009, 08:11 PM According to the media, RRod noted him as "an embarrassment" and "uncoachable" while at UWVa. But today, he'd take him in a Buckeye second. I'm sure the dude was the same guy. You can TRY and change, but crisis inevitably snaps you back to your former persona. Wilfredo Ledezma 12-17-2009, 10:28 PM your the first person I've seen use Buckeye as an adjective, Denny Fool 12-18-2009, 07:39 AM As much as it seemed like he was getting his life on track, he had probably only managed to not get arrested or be in the spotlight. As though it's phenomenal to go that long without doing something stupid. Also, dying like this would seem to suggest he didn't exactly make that 180 degree turn. SUPER DEATH PUN! FUCK YEAH! MoTown 12-22-2009, 06:31 PM WHY DIDN'T YOU WARN ME GLAN?!?! Those are some disturbing open casket photos... Fool 12-22-2009, 06:33 PM I'd call them depressing. Glenn 12-22-2009, 06:33 PM Nowhere near as bad as the Chris Farley pics, but still pretty unnerving. Kinda surprised that they are on Yahoo! like that.
