View Full Version : Sorry Chaunce But Fuck the Powder Blues
I don't see a game thread.
That was the slowest charge in the history of charges.
What the fuck are we doing in the lead going into the 4th?
SICK 3 by Nova with the shot clock falling!
Summers with a 3!
WTF is going on here people?!
Tahoe 12-10-2009, 09:42 PM CV with a 3, then Summers. That was a nice fuckin stretch.
Damn it Denver is good offensively...
Lawson is getting RAPED today!
There's still 7 minutes to blow this thing :)
Summers might be worth playing every once in a while.
Koolaid 12-10-2009, 09:46 PM summers has melo's number.
Tahoe 12-10-2009, 09:47 PM We're working these fags, but they're only down 7.
Tahoe 12-10-2009, 09:49 PM Fuckin thing went down. Melo with some luck
Elastic Man is making it tough for Smith.
Fuck you Melo you snitchin' backpedalin' bitch.
Man you know your team is hurt when they need CHucky Atkins to fight through a sprained ankle to give your team some leadership.
Stuckey stop bitchin' and dive on the ball!
Even game. Come on Stones pull this one out!
Took the rebound away from ourselves!
Tahoe 12-10-2009, 10:05 PM God damn that Rodney can finish!
Need these points!
Do not let this be a "Melo scores 40 to top Pistons" story.
Tahoe 12-10-2009, 10:11 PM ^ I'd take that over Mr Big Shot heroics.
Tahoe 12-10-2009, 10:11 PM Moving engine parts might have caught a break there.
Do the same play only have CV screen so they gotta respect the picker.
Tahoe 12-10-2009, 10:13 PM WTF is that CHUCKY?!
Kstat 12-10-2009, 10:13 PM That better not cost us the game. Terrible decision.
Damn it Chuck. How many time are you going to miss that drift into the lane jumper?
Kstat 12-10-2009, 10:15 PM PISTONS WIN!
Tahoe 12-10-2009, 10:15 PM Fug a Nug
FUCK YES! WHOOO DODGED A HUGE BULLET
Koolaid 12-10-2009, 10:15 PM this reminds me too much of a typical chaunce play in his last years in detroit.
Man, that was an open shot considering how close he was to the basket. Chauncey choked.
Uncle Mxy 12-10-2009, 10:22 PM The entire lineup we played probably makes less than Carmelo.
WOW!
Glenn 12-10-2009, 10:23 PM Great win!
:us: :we: :our:
I love this team!
Kstat 12-10-2009, 10:46 PM The entire lineup we played probably makes less than Carmelo.
Good call.
Melo: 15.8 million.
Ben Wallace, Jason Maxiell, Rodney Stuckey, Chucky Atkins and Jonas Jerebko= approx 10.4 million.
LOL, I forgot how often Chuck says "ya know what I mean".
MoTown 12-10-2009, 10:50 PM Good call.
Melo: 15.8 million.
Ben Wallace, Jason Maxiell, Rodney Stuckey, Chucky Atkins and Jonas Jerebko= approx 10.4 million.
Best starting 5 in the NBA. Undrafted, late first, mid first, undrafted late second.
I actually love it.
Glenn 12-10-2009, 10:52 PM LOL, I forgot how often Chuck says "ya know what I mean".
Billups does that, too. Or maybe it's "know what I'm sayin' "
Kstat 12-10-2009, 10:52 PM a better way to look at it:
2 players on rookie deals, 2 players playing for the league minimum, and an MLE guy.
MoTown 12-10-2009, 10:58 PM Reminds me of when the Pistons got good under Carlisle. Stack and Cliff Robinson, Ben, Chucky and Binary Man. And that team won 50 games.
Kstat 12-10-2009, 11:24 PM The difference is this year's team has a lot more young talent. That team was pretty old except for Rodney White, who never even played.
Way to come alive for the last minute game thread, fellas.
Pharaoh 12-11-2009, 07:48 AM I'll take this opportunity to praise our Coach for many things I wouldn't/couldn't have imagined:
Starting Chucky and not Bynum
Starting Jonas instead of Daye at SF
Starting Maxiell and Maxiell not sucking
If we can continue to bring effort and energy damn near every night I really don't care if we win or lose.
I'd rather see a team play balls out basketball and lose that be the whiny, lazy team we've had for the past 3 seasons and win.
Black Dynamite 12-11-2009, 08:23 AM The difference is this year's team has a lot more young talent
By no means is that the defining difference, the difference is

AND HAVING THIS GUY:http://flagrantfouls.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/ben_wallace_245x325.jpg
Hermy 12-11-2009, 08:26 AM It feels good to feel good.
Black Dynamite 12-11-2009, 08:26 AM John Kuesters is squeezing water out of rocks and Ben Wallace is constantly bailing us out of our mistakes on defense. Long term HC? too early to say, but i like the guy so far.
Kstat 12-11-2009, 11:25 AM His players love playing for him. That's a quality very, very rare in the NBA.
He gets his players to play hard without screaming at them. I didn't think that was even possible.
Hermy 12-11-2009, 12:42 PM He gets his players to play hard without screaming at them. I didn't think that was even possible.
Yeah, I'm very confused about this. Mind trick shit. Maybe it's Ben in the locker room, but he doesn't yell either.
Hermy 12-11-2009, 12:42 PM I yell at them through my TV.
I curse at them on the internet. I think they feel it.

BD, at first, I saw the pic of Kuester and then the Curry, and thought you were implying the difference was that one coach has hair and the other didn't. That would have been clever.
Glenn 12-11-2009, 06:50 PM And insensitive
The title of this thread when cut off on the home page, makes it sound very anti CV.
MoTown 12-11-2009, 10:53 PM ^Insensitive. Family history, dick.
