I didn't know how much more Joe Buck & NFC East faggotry I could take.

Any BOLD predictions?

Where's Glan to make a big deal out of the fact Rodney just got swatted?

Chucky on FIYAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!1 That's two in a row.

Either Gilbert Arenas is a worse defender than I thought, or Chucky Atkins is morphing into Isiah Thomas.

Timone
12-06-2009, 06:24 PM
Is Arenas looking like a worse defender right now than Bynum normally does? That's the question that needs to be answered.

BYNUM VS BOYKINS

I loved what they just ran, even though Charlie missed the shot.

Rememeber when Rodney Stuckey couldn't finish at the rim? He's doing that so much better this season.

If only he could hit a jumper...

Love the textbook jump stop at the FT line. Very Billups-esque.

Jonas Jerebko makes a lot of Rodman-type hustle plays.

Timone
12-06-2009, 06:36 PM
Heywood and Arenas both have 2 fouls.

Timone
12-06-2009, 06:39 PM
Wow, would be nice if we could hit some FTs. We'd be up by 10 or more.

Timone

That possession was fucking hideous.

Kwame was the first (and only) guy off the bench after that Jerebko three. That guy is a heck of a teammate!

how are Bynum and Jerebko the only people hitting any threes right now? Gordon didn't even shoot one yet!

Gordon shot one and got fouled on the shot. He otherwise has not been open.

Some really lame calls against Stuckey tonight.

We're looking like Tahoe's posts right now. utter shit.

Bynum sucks.

I really wish he didn't, but he does.

When you're wide open so open that Ben Wallace sees you and you arent looking for the ball, you let it hit you in the face, you need a basketball IQ class.

we are getting screwed over on some of these rebounding calls. Jerebko gets knocked down on on end then he gets called for something similar on the other.

Well, in all fairness the Wiz have been screwed on pretty much the rest of the game.

Gilbert Arenas makes $16 million this season, and Ben Wallace makes the league minimum. Just felt like pointing that out.

Rodney is a great guard....

... a great scoring guard! ;)

Big Ben awesome on D and on the boards again, Daye with a nice short spark in the 4th too

Kstat

I'm mildly amused all the high priced talent on that team still can't beat our depleted roster.

$80 million for that roster. Wow.

Flips offense kinda suckz, the Wizards were a better offensive team under Eddie Jordan

BTW, Jerebko's 2nd double double puts him 3rd among all rookies.

The Wizards "just missed shots".

PS. Jerebko is a beast, and he should keep the starting spot when (shudder) Tayshaun comes back.

Also, Stuckey looks much more at home in this type of offense. It seems in the long run we may have to keep BG coming off the bench. Start Rodney at the 2. Find a 1 that can shoot, make the extra pass, and just initiate sets. Unfortunately, I don't think Bynum is the answer. He is just too much of a ball-dominant guard. No one touches the ball until it is time for a shot. Then Stuck can shift to the 1 or 3 when BG comes in the game.

That's el whacko homerism. As far as Flip's wizards, they need more big men shooters. Maybe next year they become a more dangerous team.

That's el whacko homerism.

Homerism? I root for the Pistons, no individual player. Tayshaun's days in Detroit are numbered, and JJ is going to be a part of this team for a long time. JJ doesn't take a play off, and the production level is not very far off at this point.

There is absolutely zero point in rushing Tayshaun back into playing 35+mpg in the starting lineup again. Ease him back in coming off the bench. If the rookie hits the wall, it would be a perfect time to switch it up.

And thankfully you aren't the coach. And i don't get how there production is spot on close? You're having a delfino like meltdown. We aren't even that good right now, you say its about team, then lambaste people in an extreme manner as if we are above .500 right now. And saying 7.2 ppg, .6 apg, and 5.1 rpg as not far off a guy who did double or more last season in most categories outside of rebounding is stretching vag at this point. Jerebko's energy is great, but he is not a starter. I'm kinda annoyed because i dont think anything severely negative about him, in fact i like what he's done for us. But is it close to Tay? fuck no.

I trust that Kuester will be patient getting Rip and Tay back in, but we are not better w/o either guy. I'm actually itching to have everyone healthy, and the agenda psychos here are looking at who we can dump to tank out.

As an encore for the 28-assist performance against Milwaukee on Friday, the Pistons again finished well above their season average assist rate (16.6), this time dishing out 22. The number is even more impressive when you factor in that the Pistons only turned the ball over 11 times.
