I'm actually under the impression that it will never matter who the Lions' coach is. This team will suck regardless. If Schwartz went to Indianapolis or Dallas, I'm sure he'd have the chance to be a HOF coach. It's the worst career move anyone can ever make to coach the Lions.

i actually really hoped we'd win this game so that no one on the team goes completely gonzo. im extremely worried about calvin johnson getting lionized, and if he does stafford will too. so getting a few wins reall matters.

i realize joey also had a pretty mediocre arm, but to me that mic'd up thing really is the difference. there are many qbs in the league with mediocre arms that stick around. respect in football is huge. the most respected lion qb in the last 15 years or so is probably charlie batch, who sucked but atleast was a tough gamer. too bad he's out today, cuz it would have been a national slurp fest for him today.
