A small list, taken from patricia's site for contract info due to tema/player options and stuff.

I probably left off some guy you want so mention it.

Questions:

Should we sign any of these cats?

Will any of them get more than the MLE?

Who would you sign?

Who will Joe sign?

Chuck Hayes is a solid bench big, "like Maxiell good when Max is playing well."

Did you delete a thread exactly like this, P? Because I swear I posted something and it's not there anymore...

I think whoever we sign needs to have good size and needs to have at least some modicum of a post game. That knocks out Hayes and Haslem for being small and Frye for being soft. Diogu still doesn't even try to play D right? Cross him off. Darko? No.

Not sure but I think DeAndre Jordan played pretty well for the Clipps down the stretch last year. I assume they'll pick up his option with him likely to get more PT after Camby leaves. (Hey, there's a name.)

That leaves Williams, Anthony, Boone, Armstrong, Haddaddi and Jawai. Not exactly the kind of guys you'd expect too much money to be thrown at.

Jordan puts up great stats for his minutes, but has that whole Amir thing where he gets lost on plays and fouls the shit out of anything that moves.

Let's hope we don't have to settle for another Nazr type summer...
of that list I'd prolly go for Jordon... maybe Williams for his defense.... neither for the full MLE.

neither of those guys above are worth the full MLE, i'd rather keep Kwame for another year, and go with Ben/Kwame again than overspend for a useless 5 like Nazr...i prefer a trade to upgrade the center spot anyway either shipping out Tay or RIP

Yeah, sorry if you posted before I deleted it.

I had some colors in there cause I copied and pasted it from a document that I was fucking around with.

I tried to remove the color but it wouldn't work so I just deleted the thread.

And Vinny - I don;t see Camby coming here for the MLE. I'm guessing we go young, which is why I included dudes like Jawaii that are only starting to play.

Jawaii used to play for the Cairns Taipans when I worked for them and he has some skills that should translate to the NBA (shotblocking).

I'm not sold on his mental toughness. If he doesn't show much this season he's on thin ice cause this is his second season. Being traded a hundred times probably hasn't helped him, though

It's a shame you deleted it: it was the best post I've ever had in my entire life. Legend says if you read that post, you will be enlightened to the point of total euphoria, causing you to drop all your worries as it will lift you to a point of spiritual perfection. I suppose it's good you deleted it, though. We wouldn't want every poster mind-jizzing all day long. The discussion would suck here.
