View Full Version : Who will be the next to disappear?

Timone
11-03-2009, 08:49 AM
Zekyl, Baker, and Swami are gone. Hell, even Ledezma and Zip don't post much anymore so they're as good as gone.

Who's next?

Glenn
11-03-2009, 08:55 AM
you've run them all off! What a joke!

Timone
11-03-2009, 08:56 AM
I laughed.

Timone
11-03-2009, 08:58 AM
I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it's not Burton.

Glenn
11-03-2009, 08:59 AM
The babymaking cave is beckoning Pharaoh.

Timone
11-03-2009, 09:01 AM
MoTown's married now, right?

OH NO

Fool
11-03-2009, 09:39 AM
One can hope.

Glenn
11-03-2009, 09:47 AM
Whatever man, you wouldn't have anything to talk about if I wasn't around.

Well, maybe "remember that time..."

Timone
11-03-2009, 09:49 AM
Glan's fun. I want him to stick around.

Glenn
11-03-2009, 09:55 AM
Whatever man, you wouldn't have anything to talk about if I wasn't around.

Well, maybe "remember that time..."

And this time, when I say "you" I mean "you".

What would I do without "we should sign a couple more SGs because Rip might be dead soon?"

Timone
11-03-2009, 09:59 AM
I hope it won't be you, Fool.

Glenn
11-03-2009, 10:03 AM

I'm right more than you'll ever choose to admit.

MoTown
11-03-2009, 11:00 AM
I would think the easy answer would be Pharaoh. He's a regular MIA candidate.

Timone
11-03-2009, 11:37 AM
MoTown's prediction: WTF goes down the shitter.

No TBeau, Mo, Glan, Tahoe, OR other?

Glenn
11-03-2009, 11:39 AM
Maybe he thinks the world will be ending soon?

MoTown
11-03-2009, 01:40 PM
Or maybe none of us will vanish, so I selected all because we will all vanish at the same time a long ways down the road.

I think we're destined to do great things. Expect great.

Glenn
11-03-2009, 01:57 PM
*tears*

Timone
11-03-2009, 02:29 PM
You got too personal, Mo. Now Glan is crying. Hope you're happy.

Fool
11-03-2009, 02:34 PM
Laimbeer should be the next one to go. The regular season has started.

Glenn
11-03-2009, 02:42 PM
The correct answer to this is WTFChris, btw

I'm gonna pretend that you are confident that I won't leave, and you didn't forget me.

RegicideGreg

Does Pharaoh really count considering he has vanished more times that most here?

Pharaoh

Not my fault I live a better life.

I got a fiance.
2 kids and one on the way.
I got lots of friends.
I got a job where I actually work while at work.
I live in Bundaberg, Queensland where the climate is great.
The beaches are great.
I got a ton of DVD's (therefore I watch a lot of movies)

And no offense to anyone but the only disappearances I've really felt in the almost 10 years posting with some of you are:

Grizz - have no idea what he's doing now.
No Quarter - great talent and a great man.
JS - my buddy.

The worrying thing about JS's disappearance is that he was going through some really tough times when I disappeared the first time. When I came back he wasn't here and to my knowledge has never returned.

I just hope nothing bad happened

DennyMcLain
11-03-2009, 07:15 PM
I'm already half-way disappeared. Does that count?

LMAO - fuck no.

If you've ever been into a house where there are kids you know what it smells like.

You can't get rid of me.

We've pulled the goalie so to speak at home, but since I only really post at work that won't matter.

It makes my time on here erratic (due to busy and non busy days), but I still won't disappear. Only way that happens is a massive crack down on internet use at work.

Glenn
11-12-2009, 03:20 PM
Or you go on vacation, as you were when I posted that.

But those killer jellyfish. Better watch out.

Pharaoh

But those killer jellyfish. Better watch out.

Cairns has/had killer jellyfish.

I moved to Bundaberg 6 weeks ago cause my Mum got breast cancer.

Bundaberg is a killer jellyfish free zone.

MoTown
11-13-2009, 08:37 AM
I'm sorry to hear that, P.

Pharaoh
11-14-2009, 06:31 AM
Sorry to hear what? That ...

A) Bundaberg is a killer jellyfish free zone?

B) My Mum got breast cancer?

Seriously she's had a breast removed cause they say that it's 95% certain the cancer won't come back.

If she went through "treatment" she'd be all kinds of fucked up.

So she did what her Lord told her to do and chose the safest route. I'm happy she's got so much faith but IMO if the dude gave a fuck about her she wouldn;t have got cancer in the first place.

She's been going to church every fucking Sunday forever. She goes to Bible study. She does all this volunteer shit for the church.

And HE repays her faith with this shit!

Some people will say "He's testing her faith".

Bullshit - Her God sent her my father to test her faith and for 20+ fucking years she maintained her vows while my Dad got drunk and was never fucking involved in the marriage or the family (except he worked. Way to go Dad!)

So what's this shit? Test #2?

I believe that the universe didn't simply happen by chance, that it's "designed" but to say that there is some dude sittin' up there looking down on you and caring is just bullshit.

And if he is up there dude stopped caring long ago and started banging all the hot dead chicks.

MoTown
11-14-2009, 09:20 PM
I'm not really concerned with the jellyfish. Sorry about your mum.

Pharaoh
11-14-2009, 09:51 PM
Oh, ok.

Appreciate you caring.

maybe you should be God?

Glenn

Ledezma?

Shoopy
11-29-2009, 11:39 PM
Sorry to hear about your mom, Pharaoh. In terms of religion/death/etc., you just have to hope for the best. Or become a Scientologist.

Best of luck to her/you/everyone!

I proposed to my girlfriend on Friday, but I'll still lurk around here.

Glenn
12-01-2009, 11:10 AM
Not sure how getting engaged would possibly effect your ability to visit or post on a sports message board, but congrats anyways.

MoTown
12-01-2009, 11:10 AM
Congrats, DBTM. I'm assuming she said yes, or else that post might have been altered a little bit.

Don't you have some fantasy football team to tend to? It matters, Glan.

Glenn
12-01-2009, 04:12 PM
I'm not sure why my post pissed you off, but apparently it did. I just didn't understand how getting engaged could be related to you not posting anymore. What do those two things have to do with each other?

MoTown
12-01-2009, 05:53 PM
Ask Zip. He'll give you the answer you're looking for, Glan.

Glenn
12-01-2009, 05:55 PM
Do you think it's an unfair question?

MoTown
12-01-2009, 05:56 PM
It's insensitive.

Glenn
12-01-2009, 06:02 PM
I see what you did there.

Yeah. Poor taste, Glan.

Glenn
12-01-2009, 06:13 PM
Well, I'm going to make dinner tonight, but don't worry guys, I'll still lurk once in a while. Take care.

Timone

Looks like we've go our answer. Now I have to find 5 Steve Young jerseys.

Zekyl
01-02-2010, 07:02 PM
I voted for TBeau but that's just because I think the name will be replaced.

My internet time has been drastically reduced because of a huge project we've been working to roll out. Crossing my fingers that I'll at least have some time to play catch-up when it's completed.

I miss me some WTFD....

Glenn

Glenn is just amazed when people stop posting because they have lives to live.

It's not that he doesn't have a life - he does. When he's not at work he lives it.

When he's at work he posts all fucking day and has done for 10 years.

For those that don't have the luxury of posting while at work it can be pretty hard to have a fiance or wife, have kids or any kind of social life, do any kind of activity on your days off AND still have time to post.

Glenn just doesn't understand that cause he's never had to do it. I've said it before and I'll say it again:

If the people you work for haven't noticed yet then lucky you.

And pity them - cause they must be fucking useless or stupid not to realise that they are paying you to post/surf the net after all this time

Glenn
01-02-2010, 10:12 PM
I post a lot from my phone these days.

During meetings seems to be a good time, but also at home while watching the kids.

Tahoe
01-02-2010, 10:15 PM
I held down the 'I'm going to' thread while I did the things in 'I'm going to' and ran 3, count them THREE crews at times and still posted.

I know I'm pretty amazing, but there should be no excuse for month-long absences.

Glenn
01-02-2010, 10:15 PM
I'm just happiest when we can all be together

One more year and I'll be back to being a frequent poster.

I'm in the home stretch of my college studies...

DrRay11
01-05-2010, 01:20 PM
Me too, but I still post.

Don't you buy your papers anyways?

Glenn
01-05-2010, 01:24 PM
That was a close one.

I almost sneezed and I was getting a bit sad about not being able to post anymore.

Whew.

Pharaoh
01-06-2010, 02:31 AM
I'll probably be the next to "vanish"

I'm off work for another week or so looking after my fiance and 3 kids which is why I am here so often (not that you fuckers would notice since no one is here half the time due to OZ/US time difference)

After that I might not be here as often as I am now, but I'll still post when I can.

AND

IF I can post so should everyone else. I have a full time job where I can't post or get online. I have a fiance to "keep" happy lmao. Plus I have 3 kids under 4 years old.

Fuck you losers that can't post. And if you're a lurker reading this fuck you too. Join, moron - it's fucking free

Wilfredo Ledezma
01-06-2010, 10:59 AM
Me too, but I still post.

Don't you buy your papers anyways?

I only purchased papers for classes that I don't give a shit about (Anthropology, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology).

But now that I'm done taking liberal arts courses, my classes like Not-For-Profit, Tax and Auditing don't require written essay assignments or research APA/MLA junk.

DrRay11
