Richard Hamilton to sit out against Orlando

AUBURN HILLS -- The Detroit Pistons are 1-0 with Richard Hamilton in the lineup and 0-2 without him.

They will be without him for at least one more game.

Detroit Pistons coach John Kuester said Monday that Hamilton will not play Tuesday when the Pistons face the Orlando Magic. He added that Hamilton would be "day-to-day" after that.

Hamilton had 25 points in a 96-74 season-opening win against Memphis and then sat out the next two games, both losses, with an injured ankle.
