DennyMcLain 10-25-2009, 02:47 PM Can CBS stick their tongue any deeper up the SEC's ass? Floriduh almost has their dicks handed to them on consecutive weeks, and it's all "oh, the SEC is soooo tough up and down the schedule. Best conference in the nation, dontchaknow". 'Bama look like complete shit yesterday, and it's "oh, isn't their defense sooooo incredible? Best in the nation".
Best team in the nation right now, IMO, is Oregon, which terrifies me about next week.
But, if SC beats Oregon in Eugene, then SC should be in the BCS top five... not #7!!!! You know those network cocksuckers would LOVE to catapult LSwho up into the top 5 if they could. If shitty Georgia begins to win again, look for THEM to once again be in the top 25. The more SEC teams in the top 25, the better the computer averages, the higher the BCS ranking for the top SEC teams, simple as that.
Mark my words: this off-season, there's going to be a scandal regarding the SEC officiating and payola. The past couple of weeks, they've been gift-wrapping games for Floriduh and Bama, yesterday blowing even a video replay call that was so blatantly obvious that CBS HAD to comment on it. Follow the money, and don't be so surprised where it ends up.
IMO, the Pac10 is the strongest conference in the nation, with only one non-competitive team (Wash State) of the lot. Arizona is ranked, Cal might soon be ranked again, Oregon State SHOULD have been ranked when SC played them, and Oregon is fucking out of control. If SC beats Oregon AT Oregon, already beating ND at ND, Cal at Cal, and O$U at the Horseshoe, that's a road schedule that's hard to pass up. The one loss?.. to Steve Sarkissian and the Huskies.... a similar situation to yesterday with Floriduh and Miss State, who's head coach was with UF last year.
I'm almost CERTAIN that, if UF lost to Miss State yesterday, the talking heads at ESPN and CBS would've roundly chalked it up to the Bulldogs head coach knowing the Gators so well. The BCS computers would've shed a micro-tear, and kept the Gators in the top 5 or 6. When SC lost, they dropped to 12.
Timone 10-25-2009, 04:45 PM SEC and Florida hating will not be tolerated.
DennyMcLain 10-26-2009, 10:10 AM Tim Tebow is a superior human being, and I'm a better human being for living in his lifetime... but Floriduh can STILL suck my left nut
WTFchris 10-26-2009, 12:30 PM Bama got lucky that the Vols can't block anyone on FG attempts. I swear 4 or 5 players could have gotten that block at the end.
MoTown 10-26-2009, 12:32 PM I'll the SEC the respect they want when they have to play a bowl game in the Midwest in January.
Timone 10-26-2009, 03:52 PM I don't think there's ever a January bowl game in the Midwest.
HATER

The farthest north they get (outdoors) would be San Fransisco, Memphis or Nashville. Personally I'd settle for a late regular season road game at a Big Ten school.
Timone 10-26-2009, 03:55 PM Yeah, nothing says respect like playing in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.
Glenn 10-26-2009, 03:59 PM Not in January.
Timone 10-26-2009, 03:59 PM Not in January.
What my post originally said. I want to make Chris's life better, not hurt his feelings and make it worse.
WTFchris 10-26-2009, 03:59 PM It snows in December in the Midwest. Wouldn't have to be a January bowl game. You wouldn't get a BCS caliber team up there, but maybe a team like FSU or Tennessee in a down year.
Glenn 10-26-2009, 04:00 PM Understood, Chris is a delicate flower.

MoTown said January.

Not following. Anyway, my point is that I'd love to see an SEC team in the cold whether it's bowl or not, whether it's November or January.
Timone 10-26-2009, 04:05 PM Let's go, Glan. Let's leave these BIG TEN FANS be.
WTFchris 10-26-2009, 04:12 PM Last 3 BCS Champions.
SUCK ON THAT!
Florida played at Vandy on Nov 8th, that was the farthest north they went. 2006 was the same (on Nov 4th).
LSU played as far north as Oxford, MS in 2007.
Show me where an SEC team played north of the Mason Dixon line in the last month.
Timone 10-26-2009, 04:16 PM This has been way too easy.
Glenn 10-26-2009, 04:19 PM Let's go, Glan. Let's leave these BIG TEN FANS be.
THEY CAN'T EVEN COUNT THE NUMBER OF TEAMS IN THEIR LEAGUE, "BIG TEN"!!
LOLZ
Timone 10-26-2009, 04:22 PM AND HOW MANY BOWL GAMES DID THEY WIN LAST YEAR?
Glenn 10-26-2009, 04:23 PM Aw, sonofabitch, TBeau and Glan have turned heel!
Timone 10-26-2009, 04:24 PM *Glan flips Chris over while TBeau spray paints nWo on his back*
Glenn 10-26-2009, 04:26 PM *Pharoah pulls out a long 2 x 4 and/or a pool cue*

"PHARAOH's GOT THE BARBEDWIRE 2X4... AND HE JUST HIT CHRIS IN THE HEAD WITH IT! GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY!! SOMEBODY GET IN THERE AND STOP THIS THING!!"
WTFchris 10-26-2009, 04:38 PM How many quality starting NFL QB's are from the SEC? Sure, you've got the archie manning bloodline and that's about it. I guess they have Cutler too but he's never had a winning record anywhere.
Big Ten starting QB's are 19-9 this year even with Collins weighing them down at 0-6. SEC are 19-17 (Manning x2, Campbell, Cutler, Stafford, Russel)
Glenn 10-26-2009, 04:39 PM Fat and slow.
MoTown 10-26-2009, 04:40 PM I just want to see a January Bowl game where the Big 10 is the home team. It's so cliche to rip the Big 10 when they have to play every major bowl game on the road.
WTFchris 10-26-2009, 04:41 PM Fat and slow.

I would counter with SC QB's, but that fucker Cassel (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=8644) is screwing up the winning percentage.
Timone 11-02-2009, 06:19 PM Florida suspended Spikes for the first half of their game Saturday.
Gee, they'll probably be lucky to keep it close going into the lockerroom against Vandy.
MoTown 11-02-2009, 09:12 PM Yeah that's bullshit. He should be suspended a couple of games. I hope the SEC jumps in and does something, but they won't - Florida is too important to the conference.
DennyMcLain 11-06-2009, 02:08 PM Florida coach Urban Meyer has been fined $30,000 by the Southeastern Conference for public comments about a call he said officials missed during last week's game against Georgia, the conference announced Friday.
It's the first time the SEC has fined a coach under bylaws the conference toughened late last month, following a spate of public comments by SEC coaches questioning calls and criticizing officials.
LOL @ Urban Meyer. Fucking douche got ALL the calls in the Arkansas game, and now he's complaining about one stinking call in a game they had won from moment one. Fuck you, SEC!!!!
