View Full Version : OGT: Steelers @ Lions (10/11/09, 1 pm) Glenn 10-07-2009, 01:52 PM I'm a little surprised that the line is only 10.5 Timone 10-07-2009, 02:01 PM Steelers 31 Lions 9 Glenn 10-07-2009, 02:33 PM Sounds about right. Polamalu is apparently going to try to play this week, I'm not sure why. Timone 10-07-2009, 02:35 PM Yeah, for some reason I think they'd do just fine without him against Detroit and Cleveland. Glenn 10-08-2009, 02:02 PM Killer says Stafford unlikely to play Better get this ready... http://csa38thalabama.home.att.net/culpepper.jpg ___ Fool 10-08-2009, 02:12 PM Is that a baby's tombstone? -100 Gla Glenn 10-08-2009, 02:17 PM Yikes. I'm going to change that. I agree with and accept your deduction. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 11:29 AM CPep starting today. Glenn 10-11-2009, 11:42 AM See post #5 Tahoe 10-11-2009, 11:50 AM Quite possibly. I'm just hoping they give CPep the same playbook they gave Staff. If they don't let him stretch the field, we're fucked. The Steelers will shut the run down and we'll get embarrassed. But if they let him go down field, I think we can keep this thing teetering on a 10-14 pt game. Check that...17-21 at times too. Timone 10-11-2009, 11:50 AM This is going to be ugly. Really ugly. I'll be finding some other game (Ravens-Bengals, hopefully) to watch via Justin instead. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 11:54 AM Of course its going to be ugly...the Lions are playing. But that doesn't mean a blowout, imo. Timone 10-11-2009, 11:55 AM You could be right. Maybe the Steelers will feel sorry for Detroit and let up a little bit. A 24-9 game could be possible. Glenn 10-11-2009, 12:01 PM Is Stanton #2 today? Well, I know he's #2, but where is he on the depth chart today? Timone 10-11-2009, 12:02 PM #1 kick off returner, perhaps? Tahoe 10-11-2009, 12:08 PM I don't know where he is on the depth chart but 'expect Stanton' today. Timone 10-11-2009, 12:09 PM If I had anything to bet, I'd bet that a lot of the Steelers fans you'll see in the crowd are actually Lions fans that bought Steelers jerseys and towels. DrRay11 10-11-2009, 12:26 PM It's Culpepper's decision to throw downfield, Tahoe, they run the same playbook. They don't design plays to be checked down as the first priority, that's the quarterback's decision as a last resort. Doofus. Daunte sucks, we lose big. 72-17 Timone 10-11-2009, 12:35 PM DrRay: the man, plain and simple. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 12:37 PM It's Culpepper's decision to throw downfield, Tahoe, they run the same playbook. They don't design plays to be checked down as the first priority, that's the quarterback's decision as a last resort. Doofus. Daunte sucks, we lose big. 72-17 No U. Timone 10-11-2009, 12:39 PM ^^^The man, plain and simple. Timone 10-11-2009, 01:11 PM When was the last time the Lions didn't score first? Glenn 10-11-2009, 01:15 PM Declining that penalty is a true loser move. Glenn 10-11-2009, 01:18 PM I think I'm permanently scarred by that NutriSystem commercial with Lawrence Taylor wearing a purple shirt and white suspenders showing off his dance moves. Didn't need to ever see that. Vinny 10-11-2009, 01:25 PM William James can't tackle. Horrible. Glenn 10-11-2009, 01:26 PM Man, dropping Mendenhall in our fantasy league might be one of the dumbest internet that I've done in a long time. Timone 10-11-2009, 01:32 PM What's the deal with PIT getting gashed by the run this year? Tahoe 10-11-2009, 01:37 PM What's the deal with everything? Tahoe 10-11-2009, 01:48 PM Take your skirt off Ben Timone 10-11-2009, 01:51 PM Fuck the Tom Brady Rule (you can pick which one). Timone 10-11-2009, 01:53 PM Bah! Maybe I should've started Heath today. Timone 10-11-2009, 02:14 PM Why didn't I start Miller!!! Tahoe 10-11-2009, 02:16 PM I totally would have. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 02:22 PM Pettigrew doesn't seem to have great hands. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 02:24 PM CPep losing weight doesn't appear to have done a lot for his fleet of foot'dness. Vinny 10-11-2009, 02:44 PM Will Fouts just shut up about the measurement on that field goal?? Tahoe 10-11-2009, 02:50 PM Chances are if we took the points off the board and were 4th and 1, we wouldn't have made it anyway. Vinny 10-11-2009, 03:06 PM I'm guessing Calvin's done for the year. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 03:09 PM Did they say something? Timone 10-11-2009, 03:15 PM LOL @ Tahoe's boy. What an idiot. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 03:15 PM OMFG LMAO @ that pass. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 03:17 PM Tahoe's boy...LMAO x2. Vinny 10-11-2009, 03:25 PM Did they say something? No, just has that look to it. Torn MCL or something. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 03:35 PM I just saw him standing on the sidelines still in pads. I'm just hoping it's not that bad. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 03:55 PM lol @ peeps who said this was going to be an ugly blowout. IDIOTS! We're going to lose but no blowout. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 04:00 PM 3 SACKS BY THE STEELERS! Lmao Tahoe 10-11-2009, 04:01 PM Screen pass to Felton was working today, but Noooooooooooooo, can't take any pressure of CPep with that. Nice play calling Linehan. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 04:04 PM Anyone take the Steelers in the sportsbook today? Timone 10-11-2009, 04:10 PM MORAL VICTORIES RULE! Tahoe 10-11-2009, 04:21 PM ALPACA WINS RULE! Do you know anyone that took the Steelers minus the pts today? Timone 10-11-2009, 04:29 PM ALPACA WINS RULE! Do you know anyone that took the Steelers minus the pts today? Yeah GLAN, do ya? Tahoe 10-11-2009, 04:31 PM Some cat put up 247 or something... Timone 10-11-2009, 04:33 PM Win some, lose some. Could've been worse. I could've put up 500. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 04:34 PM This had to be painful for you. Timone 10-11-2009, 04:35 PM I'll be able to recoup some of my losses now that the Angels have won. :) MoTown 10-11-2009, 05:12 PM Ed Hochuli cost us the game.... stupid muscley armed bastard. Glenn 10-11-2009, 06:42 PM The Steelers just doin' what they do, and that means whatever it takes to barely get by and making it close in the 4th. Shouda won by at least 21. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 07:39 PM The Steelers just doin' what they do, and that means whatever it takes to barely get by and making it close in the 4th. Shouda won by at least 21. I totally agree with the 1st sentence...not wit the 2nd. I remember the 49ers in their heyday. Teams would lose by 3, 6, 10 and say if we just didn't miss that or if that wouldn't have happened we would have won. Problem is, the 49ers would have got the ball back and did what they do (or did), score again. Glenn 10-11-2009, 07:50 PM The pick six alone was probably a 14 pt swing. Horrible throw. Tahoe 10-11-2009, 07:57 PM When a team is good and has talent like the Steelers do now, who gives a shit how much you win by, just win. Obviously, when they play like this, some teams will bite them in the ass. I think we've seen that already this year. coach needs to step it up. |
