Espn will have it for sure, I would think.

Anybody know the real scoop on Miggy's face?

His wife beat him up for being out all night drinking with the Chisox before completing an 0-11 series with them.

Pretty stupid, even more so while trying to make the playoffs. He should be acting like a pro not letting them down when they needed him most.

This makes me miss the good old days of forcing stewardesses to watch pron on the team flights.

I honestly would bench him for tomorrow's game. Possibly suspend him for longer.

Glenn

That punishes the fans, his teammates, the front office and the game in general.

I'd fine him as much as you can and get him to agree to some public service of some kind.

^ Seriously?

I'm must be way off on this one cuz I don't see a single incident as something that needs to be dealt with publicly. If it happens agan...Houston we have a problem.

He was warned already in August after an incident at the same hotel.

They need to get him into treatment to help him and protect their investment.

In other words, this is not an isolated incident.

I didn't know that.

I guess it's of my opinion that he's already punished the game, fans, teammates, etc. Whether or not the incident effected his play this weekend, it looks like it did. He looks like a villain now. He went from being the "good guy" on the Tigers to a scapegoat when the Tigers lose tomorrow. A guy that shows that he cares that little about something every fan in Detroit is praying for is ridiculous. I really think this is the worst thing he could have done for his image outside of a felony of some sort.

Like I said, I must be way off on this. I remember Denny Mclain and his antics. I read about Babe and Mickey Mantle. It didn't strike me as anything to get too upset about, but I'm listening.

I bet the Sux players were buying the drinks and just hoping he'd fuck up.

Spot on.

Anyone remember when Probert and Klima went binging in Edmonton? This may not be the exact same thing, but for some reason it reminded me of it.

While I agree with the sentiment, I just don't think it's realistic.

If the Tigers were to suspend him for this game, they might as well trade him this winter, because he wouldn't ever be the same again. The fans would never forgive him, and he'd have too much resentment for the organization.

I think the smart move is to take the "we're trying to help him" stance.

I do think its kind of funny that IT APPEARS that his wife got in a right cross on him.
