QB Drew Stanton, WR Derrick Williams, S Kalvin Pearson, OT Jon Jansen, G Daniel Loper, DE Turk McBride, DT Sammie Hill, and DE Dewayne White are the Lions' inactives.

So Cliff Avril, Ernie Sims are both back.

Just a side note, Manny Ramirez has been great at left guard. Millen's only value pick.

I just turned this on, so I don't know how he's doing today, but I think history will look back fondly on that Cutler trade for the Bears, he's good.

I think it was the Delmas hit that knocked Hester out of the game.

It might be one of those trades that works out for both teams.

edit...One of those 'Win, win' situations.

Lions Bears hit the over in the 1st half.

Field position is what killed the Lions. It seemed like every single drive they started inside their own 15 or 10, and every Bears drive started on their 40 or just over the 50 in our territory.

The inability to allow long kick/punt returns has killed us like crazy since Rod Marinelli's first season as HC. You just can't give teams that short of a field to start with.

Our offensive line was offensive again today in the 2nd half.

we coached ourselves out of this one. "were going to play for field position" probably the dumbest half time adjustment i can think of. and special teams sucked terrible.

we should have a top offense when we draft a LT this year. god backus is awful.

I like Lanihan. It seems like we've started to call long passes and stretch the field.

We have a young, inexperienced offense. One aproach would be to just run the ball and teach them the rest of the playbook next year. Instead, we're cutting our teeth on big plays too.

I'd rather hit 1 of 8 long passes than to have never even tried them.
