Titans are biggest shocker for me. I expected them to still be a playoff team or at least close to it.

I obviously have a good handle on Denver. I expected them to have 5-6 wins this year. It's not a huge surprise they are 3-0 because of that schedule, but their defense is a pleasant surprise.

As you can see from the Stafford/Culpepper thread I expected Stafford to get better out of the bye. So it doesn't shock me to see them beat a mediocre team after a couple games of getting acquainted.

Jets being 3-0 is a surprise though. They are a good football team (I expected them to be in playoff contention), but they've exceeded my expectations so far with a rookie QB.

I would say the Steelers with a losing record would be pretty shocking too, but not as much as the Titans without a win.

Titans. Even their defense has been playing like crap.

Jets are a close second.

Denver easily for me. They looked to be one of, if not the worst teams in the league. "unworthy" coach, problem child prima donna WR, terrible QB et al

The titans lost big Al and have had a brutal schedule

Josh McDaniels is the fucking man. He most definitely would fuck your girl.

Orton has played well. No INTs through the first 3 games.

He's not lighting it up at 221 yards and 1 TD a game ( %56 completion rate). But with a solid OL/running game and a good defense so far...he isn't messing things up. Also, considering Marshall wasn't there (and still doesn't look like he knows what he's doing), Stokley banged up and a brand new offense...he's doing pretty well. If Cutler was there he'd probably have a couple picks, and certainly couldn't have more wins.

I don't think Orton is that bad a QB, actually. Had a decent season last year with less talent than he has now in Denver.

For me its the Jets. New coach, no matter how much of a bad ass he is, new QB, new leader on D. And with Favrah no longer being there, I thought sure they'd be in the dumper. Ok the last part is a joke.

I just didn't think they'd put it together this quickly. They prolly will lose next Sunday v Saints though.

The Jets underachieved last year, they've got a boatload of talent up and down both lines.

In short, I think you are all wrong and have learned nothing.

He sure caught a lot of shit in Chicago from fans and writers.

Also, you can't underestimate the subtraction of The Schwartz in that D letdown.

NE offense isn't as good with McDaniels gone either BTW. I think they'll be better as Brady gets more comfortable with his knee and Welker is back.
