View Full Version : Are the Steelers done? Tahoe 09-20-2009, 07:08 PM I'm not just saying that cuz they lost to the winless Bears. Train Wreck 09-20-2009, 07:23 PM yes Glenn 09-20-2009, 07:35 PM Please define "done". Train Wreck 09-20-2009, 07:46 PM Adj. 1. done - having finished or arrived at completion; Timone 09-20-2009, 08:16 PM The core of Roethlisberger/Ward/Holmes is DONE. (Not really. I think they're the best team in the AFC.) Tahoe 09-21-2009, 01:19 PM Actually, I should have inserted Patriots instead of Steelers in the thread title. They might be done making runs for a couple of years. Glenn 09-21-2009, 01:21 PM I think the Steelers are a playoff team this year, but nothing more. If they fix the o-line next year the could be right back in the mix of it. By the way, losing to the Bears in Chicago is nothing to be ashamed of, IMO, even without Urlacher. Timone 09-21-2009, 03:53 PM Tennessee (with their 0-2 record) and Baltimore are two teams that come to mind as far as challenging them goes, but I'm not sure that either team are there yet. Although, I wouldn't be shocked if my Ravens ended up in a better position than the Steelers (in terms of record) at the end of the season. Tahoe 09-21-2009, 06:13 PM Yeah, I'm expecting big things from my Ravens again. And like I've said before, the Texans are going to be fun to watch. Timone 09-21-2009, 06:25 PM Even though their defense has been worse than I thought it'd be, Houston have the offense to keep up with anyone. Still on the bandwagon. |
