I can't believe that the Steelers didn't address their horrible O-line issues. They had to completely abandon the run and somehow found a way to win despite terrible and untimely turnovers, bad penalties, huge injuries and throwing on every play.

Ben holds the ball waaay too long, but he's the reason that they won the game.

If this continues, I don't see them making a deep run this year at all, especially if Polamalu is lost on top of the O-line issues.

By the way, Tennessee's D is still really good, even without Haynesworth. I think Fisher is a top 3 head coach.

Chris Johnson ran for 57 yards on 15 carries, good for a 3.8 average which is actually decent against the Steelers. Lendale added 28 yards on 8 carries (3.5 average) as well. All in all, not bad.

The Steelers were the ones with the horrible running, but they also were the ones that got the win because nobody can stop that offense when the game is on the line. Hate to say it, but if I need a QB to lead my team to victory I'm taking Ben first.

The reason plays are called gimmick plays is that they are high risk. Otherwise teams would do them all the time. So when coaches call you out for a gimmick play that is pretty lame. At least the team had the balls to run a high risk play.

BTW, I don't call the wildcat a gimmick really. How is it any more of a gimmick than lining up a RB in the flat, pooch punting with a QB, or doing an end around? It's creative, but not that gimmicky. To me gimmick suggests that a team isn't good enough to compete with you unless you pull off that deceptive play. The wildcat is more of a smash mouth formation. You know that %90+ of the time they'll run the ball. If you can't stop that it's your own fault.
