1) The Free Press is now sweating a bit over UM hiring the outside law firm to invesigate Rosenberg's Can O' Worms. AND, it is being rumored that The Freep itself kind of now wishes this whole thing would just blow over.

2) Gannett, the parent company of the Freep (I think) is said to be looking into a "relationship" between the Freep sports editor and MSU. It appears to have the makings of a "Booster" relationship that is against Ganett's code of ethics.

The FREEP announced today they're going FOIA on Michigan's azz in an attempt to gain access to cell phone and text message records from UM coaches and players.
They ain't lettin' this thing go, apparently. I'm not aware that cell phone companies keep the actual content of text messages on file. And I can't believe there is any kind of actual record (paper or electronic trail) of UM coaches telling these goddamm lazy motherfuckers to get out on the practice field because "It's already three o'clock in he morning, and Christmas ain't no goddamm excuse!"
