View Full Version : ESPN's most improved teams Glenn 08-27-2009, 02:10 PM http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?page=OffseasonPredictions09-TeamTurnaround Black Dynamite 08-27-2009, 04:54 PM The Wizards added more guards and wing players to make them even more one dimensional. Most improved? If Oberto is that big a deal, we shoulda kept him. Fool 08-27-2009, 04:57 PM It's hard not to win more than 19 games. Black Dynamite 08-27-2009, 05:26 PM It's hard not to win more than 19 games. But are they counting injuries from last year in the grade. Yea they'll win more if healthy. But they arent better than a healthy wizard team from last year. if so, not by much. Fool 08-27-2009, 06:20 PM Injuries were the first thing they mentioned. Uncle Mxy 08-27-2009, 06:32 PM The Wizards added more guards and wing players to make them even more one dimensional. Most improved? If Oberto is that big a deal, we shoulda kept him. Oberto is more of a medical crap shoot than Ben Wallace. Glenn 08-27-2009, 07:34 PM But are they counting injuries from last year in the grade. Yea they'll win more if healthy. But they arent better than a healthy wizard team from last year. if so, not by much. Glad to see that I'm not the only one that just posts for the sake of posting sometimes. Black Dynamite 08-27-2009, 07:54 PM whatever floats your boat Glin. Not anyone could tell you otherwise. Glenn 08-27-2009, 09:27 PM Just bustin' your chops a bit since you haven't been around much. I even jabbed myself in the process. Zekyl 08-28-2009, 08:53 AM Oberto is more of a medical crap shoot than Ben Wallace. Is Ben a medical crap shoot? He's just getting old, he doesn't have a huge injury history. Uncle Mxy 08-28-2009, 03:01 PM Is Ben a medical crap shoot? He's just getting old, he doesn't have a huge injury history. Injuries since the start of the 2007 season: left ankle right foot back spasms bone spurs in left foot dizziness lacerated arm broken leg knee issues Zekyl 08-28-2009, 03:10 PM Wow. Ummm, I rescind my comment. Uncle Mxy 08-28-2009, 05:55 PM Those were just the injuries big enough to lead to lost playing time. Yeah, I honestly figured that the years added up and he was retired for good. Still, none of what Ben's gone through seems as bad to me as the surgery Oberto had. I'm expecting him to be some other team's Zelly, at best. Wilfredo Ledezma 08-30-2009, 11:43 PM Injuries since the start of the 2007 season: left ankle right foot back spasms bone spurs in left foot dizziness lacerated arm broken leg knee issues also there was the Skiles/headband incident which cost him to miss a game,---but that's not really an injury mercury 08-31-2009, 01:06 AM also there was the Skiles/headband incident which cost him to miss a game,---but that's not really an injury It led to shrunken Ego Sydrome... He also had the mysterious Leg fatigue syndrome Uncle Mxy 09-01-2009, 08:28 AM also there was the Skiles/headband incident which cost him to miss a game,---but that's not really an injury That was the 2006 season... wouldn't have counted in any event. His biggest mental injuries involve free throws. Green Giant 09-01-2009, 11:13 AM I hope ben has something left in the tank but I have my doubts. I wish we could see his vertical to see what he's got! |
