We were holding the last spot for Regicide Greg because he said he wanted in. There are other people waiting to get in too, so filling the league won't be a problem. Don't worry about the bye week thing.

Yeah, i hate that crap. You ought to be able to tell it not to draft certain positions until a specific round. Or prioritize a couple bench spots over kickers, etc.

I missed another draft (but did some preranking). I liked the results except for what you said. I got kicker and defense while live drafters were getting good backups.

I wish the draft was later that night too, but oh well.

First off, missing the draft is not the same as going by yahoo defaults. I missed a draft in my other league and I'm doing very well because I preranked. Aside from taking TE/Kicker/D instead of a few bench guys first my roster looked good. So usually if you miss the draft only your bench really suffers, unless you were too lazy to do some preranking then you only have yourself to blame.

Drafting isn't about picking the good players, its about avoiding the players that suck.

I was saying over the weekend that dumping Mendenhall might be the dumbest thing I've done in a while, and then I see what Nate Burleson did and I wonder if I just topped it, especially since I need WR help.

Garcon's clearly #3 on their depth chart, and he'll be the #4 receiving option when Gonzalez comes back. (#5 if you count Dallas Clark and #6 if you count Addai)

The kicker I picked up to fill out my lineup this week will most likely give me more benfit than Garcon will the rest of the way.

But my track record hasn't been very good lately with adds/drops (still in 1st place, though).

I read last week that Burleson has been targeted on more pass plays than all but like 3 WR's in the league...

Yes, but the guy I'm giving up plays a premium position. You can plug in Barber for Benson and not lose much, but Wayne is a huge upgrade over Bennett. This trade helps us both out exponentially.
