Now that the Pacers have finally cut him loose, anybody here willing to add him (and his dustpan) for the vet's minimum?

Depending on if he's in any type of game shape, he's worth the minimum. We are going to need a third PG anyways.

For the vet min I would. He wouldn't even play unless Stuckey or BG were hurt though.

He's not coming here when we already have our starting and backup PG. Even with his injury concerns and his off-court issues, he'll find somewhere else that will give him more minutes.

I would love to have him at the vet minimum. He's a solid defender, he's a fantastic passer, and at that price we could simply cut him loose if he were a problem.

4th place all-time in assists for Pacers. 5th all-time in steals for them, as well.

I think we have bigger concerns up front, though. Stuckey, Gordon, Bynum, and Hamilton have the backcourt under control... for now. We need another center/power forward.

Getting him for the minimum wouldn't prohibit us from going after a center in any way.

That's true. What would Tinsley find attractive about Detroit, though? He'd really have to wait until we decide Stuckey is a natural 2 and Hamilton is dealt eventually before he'd get a shot at decent playing time.

Decisions, decisions... do we go for the attitude problem, or the chronic injury problem? It's easy with Tinsley -- we get both!

Dude could offer to play for $1 and I'd refuse.

There are certain guys you don't bring in. Tinsley is one of them.

His talent doesn't over-ride the negative shit he brings IMO.

Wasn't he involved in 2 or 3 shooting incidents?

Dude carries a loaded dustpan, too.

Jamaal Tinsley? Seriously? The guy is a horrible point guard, the best decision he ever made was attaching a dustpan to a broom stick.

I just had to Google "Jamaal tinsley dustpan " to explain to my friends what happened and I'm proud to say this was the fourth result. Someone please Google it and explain to me how this was apparently the second tinsley dustpan incident after something that happened in college?? Wtf?

Damn, this was the link, it was hard to tell on my phone, it sounded like they were referring to a college game but I think it was just at the palace.
