NBA front-office sources say that the Warriors and Hawks will soon complete a deal sending Crawford to Atlanta for Acie Law and Speedy Claxton.

Crawford would be a nice pickup for the Hawks but what then happens to Bibby??

Jamal Crawford, Joe Johnson & Josh Smith is pretty athletic.

That's the "new" NBA-type stuff right there.

I still think it's a shame that Billy Knight doesn't get any credit for putting the cores of Memphis (with Pau Gasol) and now Atlanta (with JJ) together.

He might not be able to finish off the rebuilding job but he certainly knows how to put a young, athletic team together.

I think if the Hawks acquire Crawford it's gonna be a mistake. Sure he can team with Johnson in a big backcourt but the guy has played on shitty teams every fucking year for a reason. The Hawks need 1 quality big man to protect the paint. If they could get that guy I think they'd be set.

And surely Childress' rights, Law, Claxton and their picks can net them some decent big in a trade?

And will they just let Bibby walk? He's a pretty important piece for them from what I've seen. He might not always come up big in the playoffs but he's a vet that can take a lot of pressure off those young guns (and JJ)
