MoTown 06-25-2009, 08:55 AM - Blake sucks and lost first round. I've never seen a player with more talent blow it all away because he's just an emo moron.
- While I like seeing a Nadal/Federererer match, Nadal being out will make this a much more fun tournament because anyone can win now, and we won't hear the announcers gush over the possibility every match.
- Sharapova lost, but the chick that beat her (Gisela Dulko from Argentina) is actually hotter than her.
I know all of you are very interested in this, so I'll keep daily/twice daily updates coming.
Roddick is Blake x10. Kid has ZERO mental makeup he's just far more talented.
I'll be playing Top Spin all week.
MoTown 06-27-2009, 11:24 AM The Tommy Haas/Marin Cilic match was phenominal. Haas is actually worse than Blake and Roddick. He just takes himself out of the match when things go wrong. He was up 2 sets to love, dropped the next set 6-1, had two match points in the fourth set but dropped the set in a tiebreaker where he just choked, and then was broken on his first attempt in the fifth. Somehow after throwing a tantrum, he refocused and broke Cilic before the match had to be suspended due to darkness, and he won today 10-8 in the fifth.
Both players were hitting shots that they can't usually make.
MoTown 07-01-2009, 03:06 PM There have been some damn good matches. Murray's match two days ago was classic, and Roddick just knocked off Hewitt in 5 sets. Roddick plays Murray in the semis, and Tommy Haas faces Federererer on the other side.
Murray will destroy Roddick. Kid loves when people try to over power him and Roddick only knows how to win matches one way, Hulk Smash.
His wife has nice cans though.
MoTown 07-01-2009, 03:15 PM Roddick has impressed me so far. He has played a lot differently then he usually does. He has been playing to his opponents weaknesses a whole lot more than he used to. He also is using much more slice than normal. I think you might be surprised with the match, Fool.
