A few friends just left on a two-three week trip to Europe (two of them are going for three weeks, one bails out after two). One of them has decided to log the trip via Twitter.

Do I bite the bullet and create a Twitter account to keep up on things or do I stick to my ethics and stop being friends with all three of them because they now use Twitter?

I keep hearing I need to get on Facebook. BS. I'm not joining any of those sites. It's WTFdetroit or you don't hear from me!

Just a question: does it really matter what the fuck your friends are doing during their three week trip? Can't you just ask "How was your trip?" when they get back? If they have a phenominal story for you, they'll probably tell you.
