Imagine seeing this section on your next job application:

"Please list any and all, current personal or business websites, web pages or memberships on any Internet-based chat rooms, social clubs or forums, to include, but not limited to: Facebook, Google, Yahoo, YouTube.com, MySpace, etc.," the City form states. There are then three lines where applicants can list the Web sites, their user names and log-in information and their passwords.

There's a city in Montana (http://montanasnewsstation.com/Global/story.asp?S=10551414&nav=menu227_3) where that's part of getting a government job now.

Since I lack the forum skillz to add a poll, I'll just ask... would you fill it out truthfully? Time to set up a fakebook page sanitized for job hunting? Would you volunteer sites from the back alleys of the internet like WTFdetroit?

Why would they want password information? No way I give them any of that. I don't think they have the right to ask for that information unless you are using your real name. Otherwise it doesn't really reflect on your image at work.

I would, then I'd have my snail mail forwarded to the boss's office and subscribe to everything I could find including shit loads of porn.

Also, why would Montana need this? They are all cousins out there.

If rolling hard is a requirement of this gig, I'm in.

My response would be: "I'm safe from the Internet. I lock my doors at night."
