View Full Version : OST: Texas @ Detroit
DrRay11 05-19-2009, 07:16 PM Couple night games, a day game on Thursday, etc.
Curtis just got thrown out stealing, but Dontrelle got through an inning without giving up a run (barely).
Tahoe 05-19-2009, 07:18 PM Shaky 1st for Dontrelle, yep
Tahoe 05-19-2009, 07:29 PM DeeeeeeeeeeeeeTrain gettin his swerve on
DrRay11 05-19-2009, 07:30 PM 3 k's? Over/under on one inning until he falls apart.
DrRay11 05-19-2009, 09:10 PM Damn it's nice to have most of Zumaya's heat back. Just tells you what a freak he was before the injuries. O_o
Tahoe 05-19-2009, 09:21 PM Yep, I saw an interview with him and he said his focus is throwing strikes. He talked about being wild and walking peeps or something. He is refocused like Bondy.
DrRay11 05-19-2009, 09:24 PM D Train with a win!
Tahoe 05-19-2009, 10:38 PM Per Roto...
Wills shuts down Rangers
MoTown 05-19-2009, 10:39 PM : Dontrelle Owns:
Glenn 05-20-2009, 09:46 AM Per Roto...
You get what you deserve for going there.
Wilfredo Ledezma 05-20-2009, 10:06 AM Wilkin Ramirez makes his MLB Debut tonight for the Tigs.
He's probably our best position prospect next to Cale Iorg.
DrRay11 05-20-2009, 10:08 AM Yep. Wilkin's been tearing it up, any idea how he is defensively? How's his arm? Guess we'll find out tonight.
Wilfredo Ledezma 05-20-2009, 10:10 AM Yep. Wilkin's been tearing it up, any idea how he is defensively? How's his arm? Guess we'll find out tonight.
He's DH-ing.
I'm not sure how his arm is. I know he can swipe some bags though.
WTFchris 05-20-2009, 10:16 AM Man, if Dontrelle can keep this up we'll be in great shape.
Glenn 05-20-2009, 10:17 AM Man, if Dontrelle can keep this up we'll be in great shape.
I've never doubted him, like most of you have.
WTFchris 05-20-2009, 10:30 AM I doubted he'd ever get back to the all star type form he had. I thought he'd at least be a serviceable #5 pitcher at some point (like Nate has been). We'll see if he can continue this, but I have faith in him and Knapp.
Glenn 05-20-2009, 10:34 AM I have zero faith in him, I was kidding.
Wilfredo Ledezma 05-20-2009, 10:48 AM What's most encouraging about the D-Train was that he did it to a Texas team who leads the league in batting average, runs scored, home runs and was also on a 7 game winning streak.
WTFchris 05-20-2009, 02:10 PM I have zero faith in him, I was kidding.
I still have faith he can be as good as Nate. But that won't get him a spot in the rotation if he isn't great. Hopefully Knapp has him back on track. I also hope the standing ovation gives him a little confidence boost.
Tahoe 05-20-2009, 02:34 PM He might as well go away if he can't be better than Nate. I have lost ALL faith in Nate.
I like Willis' chances to make a comeback.
WTFchris 05-20-2009, 02:36 PM He might as well go away if he can't be better than Nate. I have lost ALL faith in Nate.
I'm just saying that is my expectation from him (which is still a bust considering his contract). I don't expect him to be great again, but hope I'm wrong there.
Tahoe 05-20-2009, 02:38 PM I'm hoping for an innings guy and keep the pen rested for his start.
Tahoe 05-20-2009, 07:31 PM Rayburn goes yard.
1-0 Tigs
DrRay11 05-20-2009, 08:00 PM 2 on, no out. Let's take advantage here.
DrRay11 05-20-2009, 08:02 PM Or not.
DrRay11 05-20-2009, 09:52 PM Got Verlander the win tonight, which is nice.
Tahoe 05-20-2009, 09:56 PM Is anyone else surprised that JV's record is 4-2? As much shit as he's gone through, bad pen type things, I was really surprised, and glad, that his record is that good.
Also, I like commas too.
Zekyl 05-21-2009, 08:14 AM Almost as much as I like parenthesis.

Verlander should be 5-2 because there's no reason the Tigs should've lost his start last week vs. the Twins.
Also, Edwin Jackson who is 2nd in the AL in ERA should have a far better record than 3-2
DrRay11 05-21-2009, 01:09 PM Jackson spends almost no time giving up a dinger but he otherwise has looked pretty good early.
DrRay11 05-21-2009, 01:15 PM Damn! Thomas with a huge homer to center.
Glenn 05-21-2009, 01:19 PM CLETE
(Actually, "Michael")
DrRay11 05-21-2009, 01:27 PM Clete = Badass
DrRay11 05-21-2009, 03:10 PM Shit, 2nd and 3rd with one down. Trouble here.
DrRay11 05-21-2009, 03:12 PM Shit, I think we left him out there too long. Fuck.
Vinny 05-21-2009, 03:13 PM Yeah, I don't understand why they left EJ out there for the 8th. FUCK.
DrRay11 05-21-2009, 03:16 PM Wow, he's still out there. Guess Jimmy really wants to give him an opportunity for the W, I'm not sure this is in the best interest of the team W though. Let's go Edwin.
DrRay11 05-21-2009, 03:21 PM Ugh... Sardinha is just awful. Let's bring Dusty up.
DrRay11 05-21-2009, 03:29 PM atta boy Cabs!
DrRay11 05-21-2009, 03:37 PM Shit, Rodney with a lead off walk.
MoTown 05-21-2009, 06:14 PM Ugh... Sardinha is just awful. Let's bring Dusty up.
+72 MoTowns.
Glenn 05-22-2009, 10:54 AM I LOVE HIS TEAM
