Tigers put Nate Robertson on 15-day DL

The Tigers have placed left-hand pitcher Nate Robertson on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 6. The team said he has a low back muscle strain.

Left-hand pitcher Luke French was promoted from Triple-A Toledo, where he went 2-2 with a 2.91 ERA and 29 strikeouts in six starts.

French will join the Tigers for their 1:10 p.m. game Thursday in Minnesota.

That explains why he didn't pitch last night, I suppose.

Bondo is starting for the White Caps on Saturday night.
