Round 2, (1) Lakers vs. (5) Rockets

Either Lakers in 5 or 7. Depends on whether Rockets win game 4.

Lakers in 6. Kobe will have one bad shooting game but the Lakers are just too big and too good in the front court with Bynum, Gasol, and Odom. Also, I don't think Aaron Brooks strikes fear into any of the Laker players.

This von wafer seems legit haha he can really dunk the ball and has a decent 3 point shot. He's a free agent huh?

Rockets somehow manage to make the Lakers struggle, especially with Artest and Battier taking turns on Kobe and Scola and Yao being pretty tough in the paint. I don't think the Rockets win the series, but they will give the Lakers some trouble.

Houston could steal this.

Kobe came out all snarky and now look at the score...my Rockets 56-53 just-about-at the half.

Watchin' it. Houston is strong. They look like they can beat the Lakers big and small. Ricky Adelman. Man knows his ball.

Kenny needs to stay away from the teleprompter.

I'm not catching at the half...I think thats prolly a good thing.

Artest > Kaobi

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 12:38 AM
That was a pretty weak foul for Fisher on the 3.

Tahoe

LOL...fish might be gone.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 12:49 AM
Fish = gone. I wonder if he might get another game. I doubt it, cuz he is a Laker.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 12:50 AM
Rocks were only down a lil then the 3 pt foul on Fish brought them back.

Artest and the Rocks can fight back...I hope.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 12:51 AM
Sasha V fights hard too.

Tahoe

Lakers D is just sagging in the 4th...challenging the Rocks to shoot it outside it looks like.

exactly. They need to get back to reversing the ball around the arc.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 12:58 AM
Did you just hear all that crap about the bench player from Houston? WTF?

Fool
05-07-2009, 12:58 AM
There it is. Perimeter passing, gets the ball to to hoop. Now the Lakers are in the penalty.

Dude can't be stable named "Von Wafer".

LOL Bynum is a brick.

Fool
05-07-2009, 01:01 AM
Kobe turning into a pussy-ass chucker in the crunch. That's what you want.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:02 AM
OH SHIT! This is getting good

Fool
05-07-2009, 01:03 AM
There goes the Artest bomb.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:03 AM
Seriously...WTF?

Oh, Artest says Kobe hit him in the throat. LMAO

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:04 AM
Kobe actually did swing that fucking arm of his...again.

Fool
05-07-2009, 01:06 AM
Would love to see Artest just eat Kaobi

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:08 AM
He was about ready to eat him, but the ref got in the way.

Look at Kobe talkin mess now that Artest is gone.

This is going to be a damn good series folks.

Fool
05-07-2009, 01:08 AM
Artest is my favorite Piston btw.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:10 AM
I'd sign that lil shit in a heart beat. He's a time bomb like Sheed that actually gets it done.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:11 AM
Seriously, this was the meanest game I've seen in a long, long time.

Fool
05-07-2009, 01:12 AM
I think Kaobi was taunting a fan that he knocked over there. He's so tough.

Fool
05-07-2009, 01:14 AM
BTW, if I played against Kaobi all game long I'd say only one thing. "But you have to rape them." Over and over.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:25 AM
Remember No Quarters thead? In the Ass? YOu had to put 'in the ass' after every something or other.

I'd add that to your verbage.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:27 AM
I couldn't hang in a game like this. I know I'd get in a fight and get booted. I prolly won't be able to sleep for a lil while. Sports flat out fire me up. I love all of them.

Fool
05-07-2009, 01:30 AM
Fuck you Derek Fisher. How about you use your daughter's illness to get your bitch ass out of another contract.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:32 AM
I've always kind of liked the Lakers when I was a kid. Who didn't like Wilt. But I'm begining to really get a good dose of dislike for them.

Fool
05-07-2009, 01:33 AM
I think Phil Jackson is dying. Or maybe I just hope so.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:38 AM
The "Houston don't fuck me mother fucker Rockets"

Fool
05-07-2009, 01:40 AM
What I like about Arests offensive game is that the dude has zero rhythm. He just makes shots. Its a bit like Danny Granger in that Granger doesn't ever look like he's in a rhythm to me. He just makes the shots he takes.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:42 AM
Yeah, he looks like one of those guys that could play football, baseball, hockey or basketball and he would just be a mean-ass competitor...and prolly win a lot of battles.

Tahoe
05-07-2009, 01:45 AM
I just hope Stern keeps his got damn hands off this series and lets it be like the old Celts Pistons series.

Fool
05-07-2009, 02:00 AM
LOL, Artest telling stories about kids stabbing other kids in the heart with table legs and killing them on the court.

Pharaoh
05-07-2009, 06:21 AM
BTW, if I played against Kaobi all game long I'd say only one thing. "But you have to rape them." Over and over.

LMAO - that's exactly what every defender should do.

Except Rip - who could probably say "I fucked your wife" and have Kobe think it's true.

Fool
05-07-2009, 10:04 AM
Chauncey Billups guarding Aaron Brooks.

I don't think so.

WTFchris
05-07-2009, 06:25 PM
I agree with Jalen Rose on the Kobe elbow. because it was the two of them jockeying for position I wouldn't suspend him either. It was maybe worth a flagrent or tech, but it wasn't after the play like Alston did. It wasn't any worse than a Malone elbow really.

Tahoe
05-09-2009, 09:59 PM
Yao out for the rest of the season.

Glenn
05-10-2009, 06:33 AM
Yao out for the rest of the season.

Man, it looks like that is going to be the story of his career. The guy is dominant, but he can't stay on the floor. Maybe he can talk to TMac about that.

Pharaoh
05-10-2009, 07:30 AM
Man, Houston are missing their window cause of their injury prone stars.

I wonder what they're gonna do this off-season?

McGrady's deal expires soon and Artest can opt out IIRC

Glenn
05-15-2009, 08:37 AM
I turned it on when it was 17-1, that was pretty cool.

The deciding factor in Gm7 will be FT disparity.

If it's close, the Rockets have a shot, and if not, then LA wins.

I wish the game could be played on a neutral floor with robot officials.

WTFchris
05-15-2009, 08:47 AM
So LA loses by double digits a second time to a team without their best two players?

LOL

Glenn
05-15-2009, 09:06 AM
No Yao, no TMac, no Dikembe.

Their defense and 1/2 court offense is mising all of those guys, but they can make up for it some by playing faster, at least.

Pharaoh
05-15-2009, 10:09 AM
They make up for it cause they have a real Coach and fuckers who play hard.

Remember when we used to have all of that?

WTFchris
05-15-2009, 10:21 AM
And they're starting a 6'6" guy at center against a team with two 7 footers. I hope they beat LA. Have you heard Jackson and Kobe talking about game 7? They act like it doesn't matter, like they have this series in hand still.

Fool
05-15-2009, 11:04 AM
Adelman is my favorite coach as this point.

Took seven games but the lakers finally remembered they're a lot taller than the rockets.
