Has he reached his ceiling? Is he going to get better? Did he play about like you expected from the begining of the year?

Low B, high C.

Max gets a D from me. I know that it might be a little harsh but I really expected more from him. He got overpaid (with his extension) and actually seemed to regress a bit. His jumper has gotten worse as has his free throw shooting. His rebounding is still suspect as well. He still fires up the crowd with his throw down dunks but that just isn't enough. I really expected him to be a notch better and he isn't. Based on expectations, he gets a D even though he was just average overall.

C-, but I was sorely tempted to give him a D+.
In fact, I almost wish I could change my vote.

Maxiell was pretty close to last year's Maxiell post-All Star break. Up to that point, though, he was a bust as an MLE backup, and he's still not great. Apart from AI's suckitude, he's been my greatest unexpected disappointment.

Maxiell is one of the players on the Pistons that I always watch very closely. I gave him a C. I really wish Curry would give Max some more playing time so he could have a few extra opportunities to prove himself. He really lacks a much needed jumpshot though. I enjoy his explosive dunks and his aggressive style of play but I'm afraid that he needs more than that to move forward. I still think he has loads more potential. I hope to see more of him on he court though.

Like I did with Amir this season I expect Maxiell to step up and be all he can be. He showed some great potential last season and looked to be moving in the right direction, but this season he was shit IMO.

You can blame Curry for some of this but Max deserves his share as well.

I don't know how we get him to turn it around but I hope that Max (and Amir) can do it next season.

Anyone else noticing that every guy that showed potential last year failed to improve and many looked worse? That's a serious coaching issue that needs to be fixed immediately!

Max is still on the team?

We took some big hits in the front office last season. Apart from Kander and Abdenour, what we have isn't very inspiring. I'm thinking that has something to do with it. Our bigs were seemingly not serviced well by Dave Cowens or Sheed's college buddy (wasn't he supposed to keep Sheed light on the Ts?).
