View Full Version : Marvin Robinson Picks Michigan Wilfredo Ledezma 04-17-2009, 01:17 PM long time comin... Wilfredo Ledezma 04-17-2009, 01:19 PM Marvin also had offers from Florida, Ohio State, USC, UCLA , North Carolina, Tennessee, and So Florida Hermy 04-17-2009, 01:25 PM Why only a 4 star? What are the knocks? With all those offers, and all the people raving about him......? Tahoe 04-17-2009, 01:30 PM I dont' follow this much, but what is he? Safety, RB? I see he has Rec TDs and rushed for a few yards as a sophmore? Hermy 04-17-2009, 01:37 PM At Michigan? Right Tackle. Zip Goshboots 04-17-2009, 02:48 PM Safety, Tahoe, and a good one. Maybe he can room with Paulus. HAHAHAHAH Honestly, DickRod better back off on the Paulus bullshit because we all know how flighty the Forciers are. In fact, Tate had a pizza delivered to his room the other day and there was one too many pepperonis on it, and the kid had his bags packed within ten minutes. Jethro34 04-17-2009, 03:25 PM Some people talk as though he deserves a 5 star rating. If he has a solid senior season he might get it by signing day. Huge grab for UM. He should start right away. Not sure if he'll be an early enrollee, but that would be sweet. While I love the offensive skill position players, it's always nice to see a lineman or stud defensive player commit. DB is certainly a need for this class. Cullen Christian should commit before too long. UM has a HUGE lead for him. Zip Goshboots 04-17-2009, 04:05 PM UM needs defensive players like Jethro needs personality. Man, this defense this year stands a real chance of being total poop. Unless UM finds a very good running game this year, and even with that schedule, 6-6 is a tough call. Jethro34 04-17-2009, 11:39 PM Call it no personality, but this defense will be fine. What did they lose last year? Terrance Taylor - could have been, should have been. Certainly wasn't as good as advertised last year. Had big games, and had games he was missing. Martin has a better motor and should be able to come close to the same level next season. Will Johnson - outperformed Taylor but was limited athletically. Even with bad technique it's realistic to think Campbell could match his performance. Tim Jamison - Was a really nice compliment at times. Van Bergen is easy to rip on, but has apparently been a beast this spring and will have a minor procedure to ensure he's pain free and better than ever for the fall. Morgan Trent - fast with a big play in him once a month, burned way too often. Donovan Warren was running on a bum wheel all last year and getting it fixed will help him take the top spot and far out-perform last season. BooBoo in line to be an adequate #2, with others breathing down his neck. Brandon Harrison - big play capability but for varying reasons couldn't keep himself in a starting role all the time. Michael Williams has this. Meanwhile, you can expect improvement from Ezeh, Graham, Mouton, etc. A handful of true freshmen looking to impact will improve the depth, and Greg Robinson's philospohy should be a marked improvement. Barwis is raving about how much a year in his system has benefitted the players - how far beyond last year they are. Yep, they still need defensive players, most schools do. But this year's group should be as good at least as last year. Add the fact that this year's special teams will hopefully NOT give the ball away as often, and the fact that we have at least one QB who can throw accurately enough to keep drives going. The O-line is better and Minor is the clear cut go-to guy. The defense will be on the field at least 8 minutes less per game, giving them less time to screw up and their total defense stats will improve dramatically. FillyCheezeSteak 04-17-2009, 11:40 PM Marvin Robinson is a 6'1", 190 lb FS/SS that will have a strong opportunity to start during his freshman year. He will be enrolling in January of 2010 and will be pursuing other Floridians in the very near future to come and join him at the University of Michigan. P.S. Rumor has it that Lo Wood and Cullen Christian could both commit sometime in the next couple of weeks, which would be huge for Michigan. Look Jethro, you are such a nerd you have made a black dude look like a bag of douche. Do you realize the number of "Ifs" that you are relying on? You sir, are a total faggot. http://media.ebaumsworld.com/picture/SuperNevetS/Douchebag.png b-diddy 05-05-2009, 11:33 AM any reason rivals has robinson listed as an outside linebacker? |
