This is a tough one for me. Its hard to grade these young guys with all the crap the vets brought to the team this year....and Curry.

But they have to rise on up. Did AJ?

D+ for me. I expected him to show something but he never did. I saw basically no improvement from last year.

Yeah, the rotation sucked, but I saw more from Kwame and Max with that same jacked up rotation.

Unquestioned F. 90% of young guys who get play are on teams with bad vets and bad coaches and surrounded by instability. Some make it, some fuck up. Amir fucked up bad. He got much, much worse.

We not only gave him a shot, but we relied on him to provied energy in his minutes, while keeping the vets fresh for theirs. Fail.

Amir did not live up to expectations by any means, but I place at least half the blame on a coach that has no clue how to use players.

I would say a D.

My expectations were high, they are becoming more realistic. I don't think he'll put on weight. I don't know, he's still ok, shows glimpses.

He showed many more a year ago. I'd like to know how many 3+ block games he had last year vs. this year. Mxy, get on that.

10 last year, 8 this year.

His overall lack of blocks is because he's afraid of fouling. No one's been able to get that fear of fouling to manifest into an actual LACK of fouling, which is why he gets a D from me. D is for dumb fouls.

I'm honestly thinking that Cowens is a crappy big-man coach.

And who in the hell does he have for a defensive partner underneath? Tay.

Oh boy, I bet that puts the fear of God into Guards and forwards driving the lane and seeing those 2 bean poles underneath.

D for me. I'm hoping Dumars can convince some GM Amir's still got star potential, even though he was clearly the 5th best big man on the team this year.

Amir sucked royally this season.

Stuckey and Iverson get all the blame and here is the fucking guy that no one has mentioned.

This guy was supposed to be our starting PF. He was supposed to be a presence with his shot blocking and rebounding. He was suppoed to get out and run.

Dude got fucking chained to the bench due to a lack of everything...

You can blame Curry for many things but Amir's total lack of everything?

I honestly thought he'd put it all together this season - but he actually got worse. I think he's worse now than when he was a rookie! How is that possible?

I've been thinking about that lately.

I'm honestly convinced that we need a better big man coach, because our development of seemingly-talented bigs is iffy at best. Perhaps we could bring in, say, Bill Cartwright? I dunno...
