Rasheeds grade? How did Rasheed do in this turbulent year? Did he cause any of this shit? Did he do anything to squash any of it? Thoughts?

Multiple choices...

Do you want him back?

I gave him a B. Not because he earned a B in relation to what I would like him to do considering what he could do, but what I understand to expect of him. Haters can rain now, don't care... you know what you expected and you didn't get much less.

Sheed really lost a step this year. I'm not sure if right now the ideal role is playing about half a game for a contender (like the Spurs). I will miss Sheed, but the Pistons need to let him go.

Although it is possible he got worn down from the heavy minutes he played when Dice was gone (check his game logs for November).

Sheed needs to be a bench player at this stage. He's not up to the grind for 30+ mpg on a regular basis, especially when it comes to defending Cs. Still, given the lack of quality Cs in the league, Sheed is about average this year. So, a C for the C. Maybe I'd make it a C- for all the fucking techs.

He is what he is.

He openly talks about CTC and gets techs every other fucking day.

IMO he hasn't really cared for a long, long time and I'm actually looking forward to seeing him leave. It's time he went somewhere else so we can move forward...

And so I can see if he still has that spark - cause I didn't see it once when watching the games this season. And that's sad.

We only need one aging vet big man and that's Dice. Send Sheed packing and get a young big in here via trade.

He's come into the past couple seasons in relatively good shape, both physically and "attitudinally", but wears down over the season. Seeing him guarantee that we'd make the playoffs recently, it was sad to see how much fire was gone.

Sheed gets a D and I want is a$$ gone. He played even less inside and is still a really shitty rebounder, especially on the offensive end since his lazy butt never crosses the 3 point line where he also did a worse than usual job when it counted. D!

He's rebounding like Nene and Memo this year. No one will ever accuse him of being a great rebounder, but he's only mediocre, not really shitty.

I'd give him a D on a couple of his games, but a B on a couple of his games too.

And therein lies part of the problem with him.

I didn't think of that when I was writing that, but that is Sheed, isn't it.

He might be mediocre at defensive rebounding but he is worse than shitty at offensive rebounding even using your examples:

Okur - 1.7 per game
Nene - 2.4
Amir - 1.7
Maxiell - 2.1

Sheed - .9

Not even one!?!?!? I'm sorry but that is beyond shitty. That's like Michael Curry's coaching ability shitty!

A starting center playing 30+ minutes a night should be able to grab one offensive board a night, even if he's got outside game. Especially when his partner (Dice) is a good jump shooter and isn't hogging the rebounds or something.

To be fair, we have bigger problems with defensive rebounding than with the offensive boards. Our offensive rebounding differential is way high. We're top 10 in that department despite playing at a slow pace.

Where we needed defensive rebounding the most was when Dice was traded We were sucking in that department. Sheed did step up somewhat, moreso than Prince (which kinda surprised me).

Sheed's offensive rebounding is comparable to Bargnani's. Too bad his outside game isn't.

I think the novelty has worn off.
